Heinicke is a guy we need to keep around no matter who we bring in. I know people have soured on him but I maintain he is a very very good backup. Look at the way he is carrying out fakes. The Tampa D is FLYING to the fake. It’s excellent QB play. His limitation is his arm. Otherwise he’s a very quality player.

I don't think anyone will disagree with this. I've been hard on him, but he could end up being the best backup in football.
