Whatever is left of Herschel Walker’s ****ing brain needs to be dedicated to science. God damn man

I can’t find a clip of it, but the funniest thing I ever heard was a few brothas sitting around getting high and discussing multiple topics. Herschel Walker came up, and one of the guys said Herschel Walker…..played football when the helmets were still soft…..WE SHOULD NOT BE LISTENING TO THIS [gentleman]!!!

Part of me died lol

In key battlegrounds, GOP onslaught of crime ads tightens Senate races

Republicans have unleashed a barrage of negative ads in the final weeks of the midterms that hammer Democrats on crime.

In at least two states, the strategy appears to be taking hold.

Recent polling suggests that after GOP Senate candidates zeroed in on crime in Wisconsin and Pennsylvania, the trajectory of the races shifted. In Wisconsin in particular, the negative ads have relentlessly targeted Democratic Lt. Gov. Mandela Barnes, who is challenging Sen. Ron Johnson.

“They’ve all got the same crib notes: Attack Democrats on crime,” said political science professor Charles Franklin, the director of the Marquette University Law School poll.

“It’s an effective issue here and elsewhere because, simply put, homicide rates are up in most urban centers,” he added, a trend that includes Milwaukee, Philadelphia and Pittsburgh.

Although Republicans have long turned to a playbook of attacking Democrats for not being tough enough on crime, pollsters like Franklin and strategists interviewed by NBC News said the strategy seems particularly effective this year amid rising crime rates across the U.S. and elevated voter concerns about the issue. Some Democrats have argued that Republicans are deploying scare tactics and racist dog whistles on purpose to mislead voters about their rivals.

This whole Herschel Walker abortion story thing and the GOP's "I don't care, because" reaction should just be a reminder that most Republicans aren't pro-life, nor do they care about abortion. They only have to feign interest on the issue because they can no longer win elections without the evangelicals/christian-right/fringe portion of the base turning out. That is the one element the media seems to be missing from the equation.  How many examples do we need to see of some of most outspoken abortion foes either getting or facilitating abortions in the past.  They are very much in favor of having abortion access, but because they are wealthy and connected they know they personally will never be in danger of being effected by these laws so they just go along with it to make sure to get the single issue culture warrior voters to the ballot box.

Ron Johnson Stinks

Commentary

Johnson has spent the last 12 years in Washington as a national embarrassment.

In response to Senator Johnson calling climate change “bullsh*t,” activists with MoveOn and Next Gen PAC toured the Milwaukee area with a new life-size statue of Johnson made of literal BS, a manure-based fertilizer. The groups hope to engage climate-conscious voters to defeat Johnson’s reelection bid in November.

Another election campaign, and once again the political marketers are portraying Ron Johnson as your favorite uncle, a simple Wisconsin man looking out for the best interests of the state's people.

The truth, of course, is that Johnson has spent the last 12 years in Washington as a national embarrassment, and if the Democrats fail to get that message across, he'll spend another six years in the nation's capital sucking up to Donald Trump and acting like Joe McCarthy reincarnated.

Johnson's campaign and the special interests backing him have hammered home a message that completely ignores what the Oshkosh Republican actually stands for, but paints his opponent, Mandela Barnes, as some sort of dangerous Black guy who would unleash rapists and other criminals on the good people of Wisconsin.

Never mind that one U.S. senator has no role in such matters. The polls indicate that the negative scenario is having an effect, especially on independent voters.

Particularly egregious are the ads being sponsored by the National Republican Senatorial Committee that many observers liken to the infamous Willie Horton ads that helped George H.W. Bush get elected in 1988.

The $1.2 million online and television attack ad against Barnes exploits the awful scene of a car plowing into a crowd watching the Christmas parade in Waukesha last winter. Six people died and 62 were injured.

The ad falsely attacks Barnes for his stance on eliminating cash bail for certain crimes. The slow-motion images of the suspect in the case, Darrell Brooks, who is Black, are juxtaposed with Barnes, who also happens to be Black. And just in case you aren't sure, the ad is tinted to make Barnes's skin darker than it actually is.

Meanwhile, a Johnson ad contends that Barnes, if elected, will join the so-called "squad" of House members—with images of Reps. Cori Bush, D-Missouri, Ilhan Omar, D-Minnesota, and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-New York,—who it describes as socialists hell-bent on defunding the police.

Barnes, who has said he isn't in favor of defunding police, is running for the Senate, not the House. But when you're trying to paint your opponent as a menacing villain, why worry about such subtleties?

Herschel Walker Urged Woman to Have a 2nd Abortion, She Says

A woman who has said Herschel Walker, the Republican Senate nominee in Georgia, paid for her abortion in 2009 told The New York Times that he urged her to terminate a second pregnancy two years later. They ended their relationship after she refused.

In a series of interviews, the woman said Mr. Walker had barely been involved in their now 10-year-old son’s life, offering little more than court-ordered child support and occasional gifts.

The woman disclosed the new details about her relationship with Mr. Walker, who has anchored his campaign on an appeal to social conservatives as an unwavering opponent of abortion even in cases of rape and incest, after the former football star publicly denied that he knew her. He called her “some alleged woman” in a radio interview on Thursday.

Not that Republicans will care, whatever it takes to get him in the Senate.

Kari Lake was booted from Arizona town hall audience before Hobbs took the stage

Democrat Katie Hobbs won’t debate her opponent in Arizona’s race for governor, yet Republican Kari Lake tried to make it happen at a candidate town hall that organizers say she disrupted.

Under the agreed-upon rules for the pre-recorded event, which was taped Monday and airs at 7 p.m. Saturday Arizona time, the candidates were not supposed to be onstage at the same time and Hobbs was supposed to go first.

But a problem arose before Hobbs even took the stage: Lake was sitting in the front row, in the direct line of sight of where her opponent would sit.

As a crowd of more than 200 watched, organizers said Lake was supposed to be in a holding room under the rules, a copy of which they refused to provide to NBC News. Lake protested, saying she was unaware of that rule and said Hobbs should come out and debate her. Hobbs didn’t.

After several minutes, Lake complied, leaving behind her campaign surrogate, Mexican telenovela star Eduardo Verástegui.

“Kari Lake brought along a Mexican telenovela star and she brought the drama. It was like a telenovela,” said Joe Garcia, an independent voter and the executive director of voter outreach for the group Chicanos Por La Causa Action Fund, which was a co-sponsor of the event along with the state and national Hispanic Chambers of Commerce.

I'd delete that. You've just doxxed yourself. Can't believe there are many The Evil Genius out there in California.

Come on. Frankly, I'm registered to vote there several times, myself.

After all, according to the folks who believe Trump Won, the reason why Biden won the popular vote by so much is because of all the Democrats who committed election fraud, so that they could cast extra votes in a state that was already guaranteed to go Dem, anyway.
