A question for my white RTT brothers and sisters -- is cocaine really that common in social circles?

 

This cool dude I've been working with for about a year and a half now (I'd consider him a friend, we hang out away from work and smoke together sometimes) told me this morning that he does a ton of coke on the weekends.  

 

I have three close white friends here in Denver (they don't know each other), and they all do cocaine.  Two are federal employees and one is an attorney.  

 

You guys know me, the question is coming from a good place LOL.  I'm just genuinely curious as I found out today that my white friends are batting 100% for cocaine use, 3/3.  

 

I don't personally know any black people who do blow on a regular basis.

Very common in the suburbs/white collar for under 35YOs or so.

I do know it's more common than you think, I also know none of my close friends do it. Some smoke weed or do LSD occasionally, but not cocaine.

That's interesting.  I don't know if anybody I know actively does coke, but now my suspicion-radar is active.  Hmm...yeah there's a couple friends of mine who I'd bet a few bucks on doing coke.  Just judging by their stories, they're probably coming up just short of talking about doing rails off a hard working escort's gluteus maximus.

I don't have any friends, of any color that do coke or hard drugs like that (at least none that I know of).  I've had a former manager (back in the grocery store days) that told me when his wife took his kids and moved them out of the state, he lost it and started doing coke and some other ****. 

 

But that's the only person I remember ever revealing doing coke.  I've known a couple of people (not friends - just people I knew through others) that dropped acid a lot.

Edit:  Just remembered one of my good friends from college/work was really good friends with this one guy (who was in one of my fantasy football leagues for years) we would hang around with and he did coke a lot.  Never saw him do it, we only would be out drinking when hanging out, but heard stories from my boy about it.

I have kind of a similar story.  Grocery stocking manager back in my grocery store days was a former freebaser.  He was hood af, and cool as hell.  Rob was his name.  Absolute legend.  We were the best stockers man, we'd joke about who had the best looking aisle and best backstock.  Dude treated that job like a game in sports.  My type of coworker.  What a great job.  Overnights while we were closed.

 

Then there are my sister's ex boyfriends.  All losers.  Coked up asshats.

Adderall is like caffeine that actually delivers on its promises.  Not surprising that it’s everywhere.  I had a prescription but gave it up because it requires way too many doctors visits... because of all the illegal sales.  Criminals ruin everything.

Agreed.  I assume every white collar guy that’s kind of an asshole and unironically refers to people as alphas is on coke.  Hasn’t failed me yet.
