Q: "So you're saying you want the casinos and hotels to open in the middle of a pandemic, exposing the people you govern to a highly contagious and lethal virus?"

A: "I didn't say that. What I said was that I wanted to open the casinos and hotels in the middle of what people claim is a pandemic but I don't think it is, and I want to use our proud citizens as a control group that will prove me right."

Q: "So you would go to the casinos yourself and walk among the crowds on the floor?"

A: "Are you insane? No. I have a family, Anderson."

I really think there should be a law that whoever authorizes these re-openings against the advice of the medical experts has to spend the first few weeks visiting a bunch of those places. If they care so much about the economy they should be willing to risk it themselves too, right?

If you only caught the end of it, how do you know I made up those quotes?

For a minute I thought they were actual quotes, but then I read the fake quote you quoted about the actual quote.

also, I ended the post with three question marks.

The fake quote about the actual quote that you quoted in the quote I'm quoting about the fake quotes I thought were pretending to be actual quotes.

The test for cats is not the same test.  No shortage.

What is different about it?  They're both testing for the same virus.

All I know is I don't want to be the guy sticking that long-ass Q-tip up the tiger's nose.

I just watched the interview.  The quotes above are actually a pretty accurate paraphrasing of things she said.  Scary but true.

I wonder if they would recommend a low dose aspirin regimen to reduce risk?

I was thinking about that in the store today before there was a run on it.  If it's not pneumonia but more like blood clots in the lunges, I'm not sure how what I do to deal with the flu or other stuff I've been sick from will matter. I was already suspect, but better then nothing.

I don't want to waste my time getting the wrong thing, but wait too long and it be gone, need more info, blood thinners are nothing to play with, and we'd run out if we took them waiting to see if we get sick, unsustainable and probably dangerous if done wrong.

Quote

The Chinese trial showed remdesivir — developed by California-based Gilead Sciences — did not improve patients’ condition or reduce the pathogen’s presence in the bloodstream. Researchers studied 237 patients, giving the drug to 158 and comparing their progress with the remaining 79. The drug also showed significant side effects in some, which meant 18 patients were taken off it.

Funny how perceptions matter

Take the VA hydroxychlorquine "study" for example....

it ignored major factors and conditions in the patient samples and treatment and would never pass peer review.

at least according to Dr Raoult.
