They toughened up,  Im not going to say they didn’t cheat last year…. as Vegas tried this year.  But look at all the Stanley Cup champs from the past 30 years. Teams finally break through… suffer disappointment after a strong campaign, overcome their playoff rivals and win the cup. Some teams sooner than later.  The Penguins the next year (Crosby), Red Wings, Avalanche, Chicago, Caps, Bolts, Stars, Blues, Boston.  The Avs/Islanders/Panthers/Preds are paying their dues now…. but they’ll be due. He completely owned his net (and looked a bit more athletic than I remember him being ha). That was sorely needed since we had zero goaltender confidence after the first 2 games.
