I am feeling the same way as you are, but objectively, which still doesn't make me "feel" any better, the Caps have had much more good looks tonight than the Panthers. They just aren't getting the puck in the net which is all that matters. But they just said the Panthers have like 9 total shots and scored on 3 of them. Kinda reminds me of our early Ovi era teams where if you made mistakes they could just run you out of the building. The gameplan for game 1 still works. Gotta play good clean system hockey. Looking for silver linings…we caused 3 goals and had plenty of great chances that missed. But you can’t do this against really really good teams.
