To me, THAT is the value. 1 year or 2 years left on a deal he signed with us is kind of a moot point. He will need to be extended regardless. Getting a dance partner was likely impossible in season as the inner workings of his new contract would need to be hashed out- AND he'd have to pass a physical. Well... Him playing this game, he fails our pvysical he fails all physicals. If he is physically unable to play- whos gonna want to sign him? TW could be ****ing himself out of all the money for this year and his final big hual contract. He expects us to believe that its been nearly a year since he tried a helmet on? If he cant play- retire? Never could see a good end game in this for him, and it trully eludes me now. Like, get traded and hope that team makes you the highest paid tackle again at age 33+? So I am glad they didnt take nothing for him. I am however pissed he wasnt traded right after training camp. They could have gotten a decent haul then most likely. And it is just another example of just how worthless Bruce really is. Last I heard the Browns offered a 1st... I wonder if the skins knew he wouldn't pass a physical because he couldn't comfortably wear a helmet, so therefore knew that it was useless to try to trade him.
