I think it's just timing.  If these allegations had come out in July he'd have been withdrawn.

I agree with this.  I don't know whether Feinstein is to blame or not, but if today was August 3rd instead of October 3rd, I think GOP cuts their losses and put forth another nominee and preach about how Dems dragged this poor man through the mud.

So once again, the President is lying? Or the FBI is misinformed about their "free reign to interview who is necessary?"  Can't be both.

Are you a betting man?

Flake will vote yes.  BK will be approved.  Trump is pretty good at obstructing these investigations.  Chip off the ole Vlad.

Trump definitely learning from other world leaders how to get things done, despite them being unpopular moves.

If Flake is sincere at all about what's been saying the past few days, then how could he possibly reconcile voting yes when the investigation has been exposed as a sham?

He can’t but we’ve seen this story before with him.

Are there any Dem Senators retiring?

Just release that **** and tell McConnell to go **** a turtle.

Though I guess that would count as incest...

pretty sure that would be a criminal act....go for it.

I think it’s fscinating to see how this is somehow HELPING the gop in certain races.

Upside down world. Kavanaugh's approval among Republicans has gone up too. Honestly I think him going down would be better for Republicans. They thrive on anger, and nothing motivates them like the SC.

Grassley and co are giant wusses.  "OMG you revealed bad things about the guy we were concealing quick bring criminal charges!" would be such a dumb strategy.  Criminalizing revealing corruption generally doesn't go over well with the public.

Why am I not surprised you would encourage it....and label it corruption?
