DirecTV reaches deal to distribute right wing network Newsmax after long dispute

DirecTV said Wednesday it reached a deal with Newsmax Media to once again carry the right wing network in its satellite-TV and streaming packages.

DirecTV had not carried Newsmax on its services since late January, when carriage negotiations broke down between the two companies. Newsmax had earlier alleged at the core of the dispute was “political discrimination,” with some politicians getting involved along the way, while DirecTV said it came down to economic differences.

Newsmax will return to DirecTV’s packages at no additional cost. Financial terms of the deal weren’t disclosed.

The TV network, run by CEO Christopher Ruddy, had been pushing to receive fees. Initially, DirecTV carried the network without paying fees and Newsmax relied on advertising revenue, which is typically the case for new TV channels.

“Newsmax recognizes and appreciates that DirecTV clearly supports diverse voices, including conservative ones,” Ruddy said in a statement, adding DirecTV helped give Newsmax its start nearly a decade ago.

Under pressure to actually release a proposal, they grudgingly issue a budget which every one of them would vote against, if it would mean it would actually pass.

They're literally counting on someone responsible, preventing the bill from passing.

Disagree,, they hope it passes, the country falls deeper into ****, and they can then use all the problems that come with their legislation to blame Democrats to an audience that doesn't care if they actually caused it or not.

The representatives and senators and other high ups, their donors and the corporations they represent don't care. None of them live on the border, none of them will be affected by any of the hell they cause. Their police will come if they need them, which isn't likely since none of them live in the areas that will see riots and crime resulting from the above mentioned hell they cause. "their police" being a private force that will be their response to the previously mentioned hell they cause.

Not defund the police. Privatize them. If you can't afford the cops, then you don't get them.
But first things first. Must cause hell.

Oh, I'm sure that there are some in their group who are that psychopathic.  Just not all of them.

I'll point at the "Repeal Obamacare" mantra.  It was their rallying cry for multiple elections.

But then the voters successfully communicated that they had to actually have a plan to replace it.

And then, when it finally came down to the point where, if one more person votes "yes", then this dog actually becomes law?  And all of our names will be on it?  Suddenly it's amazing how many of them really hope that somebody will step in and make sure that my vote in favor doesn't actually come true.

I'm firmly convinced that, when John McCain voted "no"?  At least 20 Senators breathed a sigh of relief, that they didn't have to throw themselves on that grenade.

Just now, China said:

There are a lot of elderly rich folk with prostate cancer and breast cancer in Florida.  Eventually they are going to piss of somebody who's got the resources to come after them hard:

No they won't.

The Republican formula, now days, is to write laws that are intentionally designed to apply to anybody they want them to, With absolutely brutal penalties.

And then cherry pick a few people of the groups they don't like, for selective prosecution.

And hope that the result will be the complete hiding of every person who is kind of close to a group The State doesn't like.

The extent to which the Right has demonized George Soros , blaming him for everything, is absurd. The Trump Grand Jury in New York is because of Soros. He funded the “caravans” of immigrants from Central America. He’s behind the recent bank failures. There are dozens of examples of this lunacy.

He’s the Right Wing’s favorite catch-all boogeyman for everything they oppose.

And now Rudy Giuliani has kicked it up to the comical. Here he claims that the 90-ish billionaire personally drove a car onto an airport tarmac to stopRudy’s plane from taking off for Ukraine. I am not making that up:

He's an icon. An individual object which is used to represent something vaster.

Mickey Mouse is an icon to represent the Walt Disney Corporation.

George Soros is an icon used to represent The Jews. The vast unseen network of Super Jews who are secretly in charge of everything.

(Not to be confused with the Jews who run Israel, who we thoroughly support, because doing so generates more wars in the Middle East.)
