The Sewer That Is The GOP: With All The White Supremacists, Conspiracy Nutters, And Other Malicious Whacko Subgroups, How Does It Get Fixed?

I like all the video of trumpsters at the Waco rally showing the demographic in its purest form: stunningly stupid, supremely ignorant, ill-intentioned, bigoted, homophobic, goateed, over 55, slogan-wearing, self-defeating, terminally white meatsack losers with their similarly devolved parroting wives.

Truly the culmination of the  gop's version of social engineering and developmental shaping over the last century. Well done, honky pinheads. May extinction find you soon.

Too low. Over 98%, and he's using his social security to pay for trips to rallies and his cable bill. Don't touch his medicare with that socialist ObamaCare though.

Gay MO Republican faces another censure vote from Jackson County GOP over marriage amendment

For the second time in a month, an openly gay Missouri Republican lawmaker will face a censure vote from the Jackson County Republican Party for trying to redefine marriage in the state constitution as between “two individuals” instead of “a man and a woman.”

The planned censure, scheduled for Monday evening, targets state Rep. Chris Sander, a Lone Jack Republican. The resolution accuses Sander of deviating from the party’s platform for trying to recognize same-sex marriage through a constitutional amendment.

While federal law enshrines same-sex marriage, the Missouri Constitution still defines marriage as between a man and a woman under an amendment approved by voters in 2004. Sander’s proposed constitutional amendment, filed this year, would bring Missouri in line with the federal “Respect for Marriage Act” signed by President Joe Biden late last year.

“The Jackson County GOP censure and the Missouri Republican Party platform represent a small minority of leadership who conflict with our US Constitution,” Sander said in a text to The Star. “The committee members do not like gay Republicans.”

News Channel 5, Nashville:

What did Congressman Andy Ogles do with nearly $25,000 meant for child burial garden? He won't say

Ogles used photo of stillborn child for GoFundMe, promising a place for burial of babies with benches for families, life-size statue of Jesus. It never happened, and he won’t say where money went.

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — What did Tennessee Congressman Andy Ogles do with tens of thousands of dollars meant for a children's burial garden?

Now, NewsChannel 5 Investigates has uncovered more questions that the freshman Republican won't answer.

It's a story that goes far beyond questions about Ogles' inflated resume. It's a story that stems from a personal tragedy — the stillborn death of a child whose photo Ogles sometimes posts on his political social media — and a GoFundMe that allowed Ogles to rake in tens of thousands of dollars for what was supposed to be a children's burial garden.

Yet, what makes it a story is the fact that there is no burial garden, no one knows where their donations went, and Ogles refuses to say what he did with the money.

NewsChannel 5 Investigates reached out to Ogles' office but never heard back, so we approached the Maury County Republican as he left a recent political event.

"Congressman, this doesn't have to be a story if you just offer some evidence it went for a good cause," we told him, as he got into a truck and slammed the door.

---

Ogles himself started a GoFundMe page TWO DAYS after his child's death, using a photo of the stillborn baby.  That was in 2014.  No "burial garden" was ever started. There is no record of where the money went. And Ogles, Tennessee's version of George Santos, isn't saying.

Warrant issued for former Maryland chief of staff McGrath for failing to appear in court

Roy McGrath’s federal corruption trial is on indefinite hold after the former aide to former Gov. Larry Hogan (R) failed to come to court.

McGrath was expected to appear in a Baltimore courtroom for the first day of what was anticipated to be a two-week trial. Instead, U.S. District Court Judge Deborah Boardman issued an arrest warrant and sent the jury home.

Under the terms of McGrath’s pretrial release, he promised to appear in court. Boardman said McGrath’s failure to appear violated those terms.

“Let’s hope he’s safe and there’s some mix-up,” she said.

The terms of McGrath’s pretrial release required him to surrender his passport to the U.S. District Court clerk’s office in Fort Myers, Florida, near his home, in October 2021 and acquire no new passport. The order also required his wife to transfer a firearm and required McGrath to undergo “medical or psychiatric treatment as required by Pretrial Services.

On Jan. 23, the requirement for medical treatment was stricken after a request from McGrath’s attorney.

Joseph Murtha, McGrath’s attorney, said he had attempted throughout the morning on Monday to reach his client and his wife.

“Most importantly, I’m concerned. I’m hoping he’s safe,” Murtha said. “These situations are very stressful, the uncertainty of going to trial can cause people to do things many people don’t think are appropriate. We hope that he’s safe.”

Roy McGrath's wife is 'concerned for his well-being' as federal manhunt continues

The wife of Roy McGrath, now a wanted fugitive and ex-chief of staff for former Gov. Larry Hogan, is cooperating with law enforcement as the manhunt continues after McGrath failed to appear for his federal fraud trail in Baltimore.

The U.S. Marshals Service issued a wanted poster for McGrath Tuesday afternoon, and sources tell FOX45 News search for McGrath is now a multi-state, multi-agency effort with FBI agents also involved in the investigation.

Feds offer $20,000 reward for info on fugitive Roy McGrath, ex-chief of staff to Maryland governor

The FBI and U.S. Marshals Service are each offering a $10,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of Roy McGrath, the former chief of staff to ex-Maryland Gov. Larry Hogan who became a fugitive after failing to appear at trial on wire fraud and embezzlement charges earlier this month.

An intense federal manhunt has been underway since McGrath, 53, failed to appear in federal court in Baltimore, Maryland, on March 13. A judge issued a warrant for his arrest, and the FBI soon searched his house in Naples, Florida, and interviewed his relatives.

The bureau released a wanted poster on Tuesday featuring three photos of McGrath and listing a number of aliases that he could be using, including Roy Carlos McGrath, Roy Charles McGrath, Roy Baisliadou, RC Baisliadou, Roy Mak-Grath, RC Mak-Grath and RC McGrath. McGrath surrendered his passport after his arrest, the Marshals said previously, but the FBI said McGrath should still be considered an "international flight risk."

Ron DeSantis is targeting the free speech protections that might save Fox News

As Fox News faces legal peril over its coverage of Donald Trump’s 2020 election lies, one of its most featured Republicans, Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, is trying to gut the free speech protections that may ultimately save the network from financial ruin.

DeSantis and his GOP allies in the state legislature have proposed a sweeping overhaul to defamation laws here that would make it far easier to sue news organizations in Florida. The legislation, fashioned to punish media outlets over their coverage of conservatives, would turn the state into a battleground over the future of the First Amendment.

But in doing so, DeSantis has sparked warnings from the right that his attempts to target the mainstream media will result in headaches for conservative outlets as well. Among the most vulnerable, opponents have said, could be the media organizations that have done the most to promote DeSantis amid his ascent in the GOP.

“I understand the emotion behind this bill, but you cannot legislate on emotion and this bill is a sword that will cut both ways,” said Trey Radel, a former Republican colleague of DeSantis in the US House who hosts a weeknight radio show on a Florida Fox News affiliate. “This bill has the potential to stifle, if not shut down, center right media and conservative talk radio.”

Thanks, because I wouldn't have known.

Here's a snippet lol:

Q: How will I know when I’m about to get my first period?
You’ll start showing subtle signs of sluttiness, like breast buds, emergent pubic hair, and a fixation on sullenly licking a lollipop. Also, Matt Gaetz will start sexting you.

Q: What is a diva cup?
I think she’s one of the Drag Queens we banned from Children’s Story Hour at the library. Or maybe it’s some kind of accessory? I’ll ask my stylist if a Diva cup would look good with my white go-go boots.
