Reading about that dog thing, it sounds way more like she was in a rage and took it out on a couple of animals than made some sort of moral decision based on the safety of her kids.

She was angry at the dog for messing up a hunt (why would you bring a completely untrained young dog on such an important hunt?) and then going after a neighbor's chickens (she didn't put the dog in a kennel on the way home - saying she didn't care if it jumped out and died) so she got home and was apparently furious so she then took the dog, shot it, then came back and grabbed the goat (which they'd had for years) and shot it.

And she's...bragging about it. What a pycho.

Ultimately, I don't think it was doubling down that ended her, I think it was how patronizing she was about about the whole thing. Like everyone else has the problem and this is normal behavior. So long, Kristi.

True, though I think what ended her overall was just being plain stupid. What kind of moron thinks "I bet telling a bunch of strangers the story of how I murdered a puppy will make them gravitate towards me"?

And we know it wasn't a mistake or some rogue editor, because apparently she pushed for it to be included in opposition to her publisher. From what I read she actually tried to include it in her previous book but they managed to talk her out of it. This time she was just not to be deterred.

She wanted the whole goddamn world to know that she shot a puppy in cold blood. Because that's the kind of **** that people love in their leaders.

If you pay porn stars hush money and then fraudulently modify your business records, take highly classified national security documents and refuse to give them back while lying about having them, or conspire to illegally overturn a lawful federal election...then they will come for you too!"

This is SOP right out of the Trump Playbook...claim that after THEY have come for you, claim that THEY will come for ALL YOU AMERICANS next. Navarro tried that crap as he was being led into prison too.

Same kind of language all fascists have used. Can't wait for Habba to get disbarred...don't expect any help from Trump on that one.

And just remember. If the government can be abused, to prosecute the opposition, then before you know it, they'll be prosecuting politicians families for applying for a gun permit while using Marijuana. Or for filing their taxes late, after they've filed their taxes, and paying the taxes, and the penalties.

How about our latest maga culture hero, the kicker for the chiefs. 😄

Reading his crap and seeing Mike Johnson as the latest in the ever growing line of big name gopers starting to show up at trump's trial and continue to project all their transgressions onto the democrats.🙄

Here’s a few quotes from the idiot kicker, Butker: one not listed in the article was not to be apologetic for being manly. Like WTF apologies for that? Link: USA Today

“I think it is you, the women, who have had the most diabolic lies told to you. Some of you may go on to lead successful careers in the world but I would venture to guess that the majority of you are most excited about your marriage and the children you will bring into this world.

“I can tell you that my beautiful wife Isabelle would be the first to say her life truly started when she started living her vocation as a wife and as a mother. I’m on this stage today, able to be the man that I am, because I have a wife who leans into her vocation.

“I’m beyond blessed with the many talents God has given me, but it cannot be overstated that all my success is made possible because a girl I met in band class back in middle school would convert to the faith, become my wife, and embrace one of the most important titles of all. Homemaker.”

Then, Butker got to what he termed the dangers of the “church of nice.”

“The world around us says that we should keep our beliefs to ourselves whenever they go against the tyranny of diversity, equity and inclusion,” Butker said. “We fear speaking truth, because now, unfortunately, truth is in the minority.”

Then, on to Pride Month, which takes place in June.

“Not the deadly sins sort of Pride that has an entire month dedicated to it, “but the true God-centered pride that is cooperating with the holy ghost to glorify him.”

Butker has every right to say whatever he wants at such an address, but he also deserves the flak he’s going to get over it. Most likely, he’ll take it as one for the team in the fight against, as he put it, “dangerous gender ideologies.”

Imagine you are the parents of a 22 year old woman and you have just spent $172k for four years of this “college” only to be told that she should stay at home and make sandwiches.

Yep. My wife makes way more than I do. I would like him to say that to her. The verbal and mental beat down this guy would get would be good enough to get on pay per view.

Also, it’s only the rich ****s that think these women should be house wives. The rest of us can’t afford housewives. We need partners. So, if all the women turn into housewives, I know a bunch of men that will turn gay to get a little help with the mortgage and taxes. Christian Nationalists can’t think this far down the road.

Same here. And I make a lot myself.

I'm not lying when I say when I was dating Buzzette that it was like buying into an amazing startup. I invested during the immediate post-college era. Made other infusions like her getting an MBA. Now I can retire and live off the dividends. :beavisnbutthead:

Eric Adams getting the Tulsi treatment from me at this point

I don’t follow NYC politics, and the little I know about Adams is not favorable. But this seems like an example of the tweet caption making the limited video into something it’s not.

It might be framed in a right wing fashion but the tweet is about right. Adams should have not said anything about excellent swimmers. He just wants the undocumented folks able to work especially in fields with shortages

I’m pretty much the same way. I helped put her through school and gave her a place to live. I went to school part time and then afterwards she returned the favor and I went full time. It has paid off massively for me. I don’t regret a thing and neither does she.
