I love how their argument is basically "By telling everyone to handle the investigation by the book, Obama was actually telling them to not do it by the book and break the law, even though all the evidence says they did it by the book."

"End of public disagreements" looks like a suicide pact to me. The criticism they levied on the Ds for investigating Trump is small potatoes compared to doing this crap while people are losing their jobs and dying.

The stupid thing is if Trump actually had it in him to exhibit empathy and non-partisan leadership he would most likely get a bump out of this mess.

Reading the transcript (and am I right that this isn't a transcript, it's a Trump Admin summary?), it looks like what he's doing, is asking the Russian government to please do what they have to do to save face, but please don't escalate things any further.  

 

Which doesn't exactly strike me as an evil position for a transition team member to be taking.
