Maybe not the place for this topic, but I don't hate this idea. There's no international consensus on maintaining the limiting of militarization of space and isn't majority if not the entire space force program just parts from the Air Force we are already doing? In the reality that if we don't someone else will, I'm fine with starting somewhere. This isn't an attempt to defend Trump on anything, just reminds me of the new crime reform bill that sought to better even out sentencing for crack vs cocaine, that I'm happy its signed into law even if its Trumps signature. I don't hate it per se but in typical Trump fashion its low on substance and high on sizzle. He literally rebranded a portion of the Air Force and took a victory tour to tout his major accomplishment. It's similar to his 'border wall' progress, which is nothing more than planned enhancements/maintenance to the wall we already had in place.
