Murphs56
Lets move forward with all this crap. You got people like Chris Russell still trying to dig and pry into the Shanahan-Andrews-Griffin relationship. I know there's some issues there, but Shanahan said there was a conference call, they aired everything out and it's over. Lets just focus on talking week 1. TheGreek1973
ok that is over. We can't second guess this decision people, no way after what happen lasr year Mike would risk him if he didn't get the thumbs up from the good doctor and if RGIII showed any signs not being ready. BnG4ever326
Thank God this is OVER!! No more do we have to hear the drama. Don't have to hear Thom Loverro's high pitched whine about all the "drama" surround "Super Bob" as he loves to call him. It is ON!!! September 9th...HERE WE COME!!! mikeDinNYC
everything is fine... RG3 is THE STORY for the NFL right now and the media wants a good story... then add the spin factor and you get what we have gotten... totally expected... time to put up and shut them up. greenspandan
Washington Redskins coach Mike Shannahan announced Monday that water is wet. Redskins beat reporter Chris Russell has called the announcement "a smokescreen", and radio broadcasters Chad Dukes and LaVar Arrington have reportedly lined up guests Devin Thomas, Donovan McNabb, and Vinnie Cerrato to talk about how dry water may in fact turn out to be. The only issue is the regular season needs to start. If he plays one game healthy and he does well and the skins win it'll be a long lost memory. NoCalMike
RGIII's first incompletion will be blamed on "being rushed back" bank on it.
Vanguard
Right. It would be nice to see him play so well that people say, "he doesn't look rusty at all." But how likely is that?

Very likely. He will show up ready to go bank on it.
TheDiplomat
A lot of mediots this off-season swear (almost comes off as hope) that RGIII will be rusty b/c of no preseason reps, only 2 weeks of first string practice, injury, etc. Then some current and former players come out and say that sometimes practices are harder than the games and he'll be fine. I believe the latter. Check out these quotes from this Reid article posted today. Inspires a lot of confidence. RGIII will have a more production season than last year (minus rushing yards & td's) and this will start Game 1......Quarter 1. Man, he’s just so different,” tight end Fred Davis said. “He has the type of mental strength to come back and be confident right away with whatever he’s doing. . . . To be honest about it, the surprise wouldn’t be if Robert plays like Robert. The surprise would be if he didn’t.” “You guys [the media] aren’t out there [at practice], but let me just tell you this: He looks damn good,” fullback Darrel Young said. “The way he’s moving around, making plays . . . he’s full go with everything.” Having his head in the game will enable Griffin “to get right back at it and have some fun,” Morris said. “He’s so smart and so prepared. Nothing catches him by surprise because he’s always working to get better." “He stepped right back in after being out so long. Sometimes [at practice] it’s like he was never gone. If you didn’t know what happened to him you really wouldn’t know. You could say he looks like the same Robert, but you could also say he looks better.” “He definitely knows he has to be smart,” Davis said. “But he’ll still be exciting. You know Robert will put on a show.” http://www.washingtonpost.com/sports/redskins/despite-injury-and-little-practice-redskins-robert-griffin-iii-determined-to-be-even-better/2013/09/02/7b196d9c-13dc-11e3-880b-7503237cc69d_story_1.html
