CJ isn’t the answer. He was ass in the second half. Dame needs a Klay.

Dame made a lot of bad decisions late too.  They fell apart mentally, and their offense didn’t generate many good shots for them.  Out played and out coached in the second half.

Also, Nurkic seemed out of sorts today.  He had some head scratching plays and he’s usually pretty solid.

LeBron should cut his head bald or use that money he plans to buy the Cavs with and fix that hole in the ozone layer on the back of his head. Makes no sense

Beard transplants are a thing where they take hair from back of your head and implant it in your face. Lebron could be one of the rare people to do a beard to head transplant.

Dametime was fun while it lasted.

Jus had a horrible flashback to what Arenas had to go through. Feel bad for him.

LeBron couldn't do in the west what he did in the east without another star at or above his level.

Only thing that can stop LeBron from piling up first round bodies in the west now is father time or AD leaving.

I'm not buying he'll ever represent the west every year like he did when he was in the east, but 8th or 7th seed hero stories won't stand a chance.

Its really not Dame's fault anymore more then it was Arenas.  The powers that be wanted this and basketball gods looked the other way again, history repeating itself.

From the second quarter on, Lillard did not play well.  He was chucking and ball stopping and didn't facilitate their offense well, rebound, or defend.  His stat line was bailed out by a bunch of ticky-tack foul calls on soft three point attempts.  He was significantly outplayed by LeBron and Anthony Davis, who played energetic, rhythmic, and dominant team ball.  The Lakers are much better than the Blazers, and that includes LeBron and Davis being better than Lillard.  And McCollum and Melo played better than Lillard last night too, they were the reason they kept the lead so long.

Nurkic was basically useless in the second half.  It's clear he can't play 30+ minutes yet--he can't even get up and down the floor at that work load.  Stotts messed up and should have played Whiteside more and staggered their minutes better to get Whiteside on the floor for the home stretch.  But it's tough to fix up a good rotation with just six worthy players, especially when your stars aren't dominating.  Meanwhile the Lakers, who are supposed to be paper thin, have a pretty good ten man rotation and they can match up with big or small line ups.

Curry made some major mistakes down the stretch.  Luka did his best to will his team across the finish line but fell short.

Kawhi has made the forearm shove his move (and it’s absolutely an offensive foul).  Is Paul George playing?  Didn’t hear his name once in the last 5 min.

Maybe...hear me out...just maybe....Kawhi was carried by Toronto to the championship last year. Now he's on a team without winners and.....2-2 against Dallas.

(Winter is coming)

Nah he was clutch in a lot of those moments and before he got to Toronto, they had no “winners” Don’t forget the year before and LeBronto. Luka is amazing and getting better.

He did win his titles in San Antonio and Toronto on excellent well polished teams.  Kawhi wasn’t carried by these teams, it’s just that great coaching + great supporting cast + superstar = Title contender.  It’s the winning formula.  Clippers are talented but they don’t seem to be the well oiled machines his other title teams were.

Paul George, has been especially bad.  These are PGs field goal percentages for the last three games against Dallas: 21.4%, 18.8%, and 23.5%.  Those aren’t three point percentages, that’s from the field.  Yikes.
