ke27on
Nothing wrong with what he said. I'm not a big fan of his talking in general but I can't see why anyone be that angry about him stating the obvious. It's not a 'play' when a guy completely fails to do his job as safety at a point in the game where the NUMBER ONE responsibility is to not get beat. Boss_Hogg
Extremeskins, as usual, needs a reality check. Luckily the fans don't run the team. Wow, could you imagine that? Boss_Hogg
I fail to see why any Redskins fan would be upset about one of our players rolling his eyes at the Giants.**** them. what are you worried about? pissing them off? Looking bad? This is a team we swept last year, and required a last minute miracle to scrape by us the other day. Y'all want to respect them? **** them! DHall SHOULD let them know we don't fear them. DHall SHOULD let them know we don't consider them better. Instead we get a bunch of whining. Oh no! DHall mouthed off to the Giants! Oh, our delicate sensibilities have been shaken! Quit whimpering about it. Stand with the REDSKIN who's not afraid of them . ~Bang I'm posting this on my FB to wall all the D. Hall whiners. kobra860
There's nothing wrong with what Hall said. It was true. Eli talked about how the coverage was weak the whole game and the one time he decides to exploit it is when his team is on the verge of losing. That doesn't sound right. RonArtest15
It's not so much the words, but rather WHO said them. D.Hall needs to shut up. I'll be happy when he's on another team next year stinking it up. I know fanboys will point to his improved tackling in 2012 and what have you, but he's a herb who flaps his gums WAY too much. SkinsFTW
yeah but they talk crap about what they are GOING TO DO, unlike Hall who is making weak excuses for what happened. Looks bad on Hall and the team. Well what they had done had lost them the game until Eli to Cruz, which our defense basically gave them as Hall said, won it for them anyway. ---------- Post added October-25th-2012 at 10:06 AM ---------- I don't have any problem with what Hall said really. It's even been proven that he was right by what they are saying on ESPN. Some clowns on there are saying that RG3 is looking good but no where near MVP like because when he had won the game with 1min left in the 4th Eli Manning took it away from him, as if that freebie that our defense gave Eli or Moss' fumble makes RG3's performance any less than it was. If you actually go on teams' websites, or NFL.com, you'll see that their are tons of interviews from players of each team. Hall gets interviewed before/after games just like any other player. He's one of the captains of our defense. They are going to ask him questions. You all have this idea that he is talking too much when really you are just looking for him to talk so you can complain. Eli talked about how the coverage was weak the whole game and the one time he decides to exploit it is when his team is on the verge of losing. That doesn't sound right. I agree with you 1000%. If that coverage was so bad the "whole" game as Eli stated, the should've had 40+ points. I don't see ANYTHING wrong with what D. Hall said whatsoever. And why are so many wanting to cut one of the better players? At least in our secondary. Josh Wilson is atrocious and constantly gets beat. He reminds me of a smaller 2012 version of Fred Smoot when he reached that time in his career that he couldn't cover anyone. Heck Amani Toomer beat him on a fly route and he ran like a 5.4 40. People need to just stop with the hate for D. Hall. I wish more of our players had his emotions when they're playing. Heck, nice guys don't win games, true gamers do. JPP, Osi and those guys talked smacked and somewhat backed it up. I'm tired of hearing "we gotta get better" or " we'll correct it in this weeks practice". NOTHING D.Hall said was inaccurate or wrong. If anyone can remember earlier in the game, Victor Cruz beat Josh Wilson like a drum for a sure TD and Eli threw a bad pass. So the coverage that he spoke of was the mismatch of Josh Wilson on Cruz. Josh Wilson got beat on single coverage in the Cincy game. The WR took a 8yd pass on a 3rd and 15 to the house with him in coverage. Dude is NOT good at ALL. Madieu is not worth even talking about. He is a manager at Five Guys at best. Gomes is totally lost, and Reed is not athletic, so why do so many people want to see D. Hall gone??

Lombardi's_kid_brother
And Hall isn't either of those, so what's your point? Hall has managed to snake three massive contracts from idiotic front offices while never being more than an average (in my view) defender. He plays a stupid, gambling style because he thinks that will line his pockets and get the attention of Pro Bowl voters who will remeber the 80 yard interception return they saw on SportsCenter while forgetting the 50 slant and gos he was burned on. I don't remember seeing Osi, Tuck, or JPP in coverage to lose the game for the Giants. I could've sworn that was a DB on Moss. And I actually said they somewhat backed it up. A lot of their ineffectiveness was the RG3 effect. But our defense woes is NOT on D. Hall shoulders entirely. Josh Wison is a nice guy that happens to be a terrible DB. And so are our safeties. D. Hall plays a lot like Asante Samuels and teams like that.

If they had done their job, which isn't to cover Moss by the way, RG3 never gets that pass off, or converts multiple 4th downs, the Redskins don't rush for over 250 yards, or are even in the game despite 4 2nd half turnovers but we were still beating their defense. Our offense beat their defense, it took Eli-Cruz against our non coverage for the Giants to win the game. ---------- Post added October-25th-2012 at 11:24 AM ---------- Not only that but we'd still be talking about continuing the Giants sweep if it wasn't for putrid defense. Rex Grossman lit that great defense up twice last year and we just ran for over 250 on it, turned it over 4 times and still should have won. Their defense and Osi, JPP and Tuck, had nothing at all to do with them winning the game.

Airyx
This guy won't stop at nothing to run his mouth, claiming he could have thrown this ball, but he couldn't cover the throw ! 2012-2013 Salary $9,800,000 – Base Salary $6,000,000 – Signing Bonus $300,000 – Other Bonuses $3,500,000 – Contract 6 years / $55,000,000 – Signing Bonus 5 years / $1,500,000 – Guaranteed Money $22,500,000 – Last Year of Contract 2014 I'm not sure what Hall's contract has to do with anything. I can't say if he could have covered that throw or not, he wasn't on that side of the field, his job was elsewhere. Fault on that particular play goes entirely to Williams. I have no idea why he is on our team. The most important thing for a safety to have is football smarts, and he has none.

Gomes is totally lost, and Reed is not athletic, so why do so many people want to see D. Hall gone?? Your comments on Madieu, Gomes, and Reed are dead-on correct. Your comments about Josh Williams could not be more wrong. He consistently grades-out as one of the better CBs in the league. Hall grades-out as a fair amount above average. Paired together, the 'skins have pretty good CB talent. You need to realize that the NFL is designed so that a CB is always at a disadvantage against a receiver. If a QB throws to a WR in single coverage, he expects the WR to win that most of the time, because those are the rules of the game. Its like a casino. Yes you might win every once in awhile, but because the rules favor the house, eventually you'll lose out. So, CBs need help. Either from the sideline, the OLB, or a safety. The CB knows where his help is, and in the case it was supposed to be Williams on the top of the bracket. Wilson did okay, on that Cruz throw. He had the underneath part of the bracket just as he was supposed to. Williams failed to stay over the top of that bracket, so there you go. HailToTheRedskins14
Madeiu Williams could perhaps be the absolute worst player we've had in the last 5 years. Definitely the worst starter. He's down on Stephon Heyer level, but at least Heyer was a serviceable backup on a good day.
