COWBOY-KILLA-
So camps here and we are faced with either Beck or Grossman. For my money I just don't see how Beck beats grossman out for the job. I'm actually pretty intrigued by having Grossman lead the squad, it's not ideal but I actually think he can get it done. So my prediction( not earth shattering) is that Grossman will win it and he'll play pretty well, surprising most.
terrifNick21
I'll say Grossman will win and he'll start Week 1.

Captain Wiggles
Grossman. And I don't really expect it to be much of a competition.
ucfSKINS
Grossman. And I don't really expect it to be much of a competition. Same with me, as much as I'd like to see Beck succeed, I think Sexy Rexy will wind up as our week one starter.
Lombardi's_kid_brother
I think the answer is obvious. We all win.

s0crates
Grossman has the advantage: He has been in the offense for a few years, he had some game experience last year, and he has a strong arm. That being said, I expect it to be a good competition. Beck has potential. I cast my vote for Beck b/c nobody else did. May the best man win! Commander PK
I think Rex will win the job, and depending on how things go. He will keep it long term. Most people are hell bent that Rex cannot be the long-term guy. I'm not so sure. I saw something in his playing last year that I really liked. If he can somehow stop throwing interceptions, the guy can be a damn good QB. This offense seems to suit his skill set.
Hooper
I've been saying for months that Grossman would be under center opening day and have a surprisingly good season. But Beck is a complete mystery to me. If he beats Grossman out, awesome.
Commander PK
and that is not to say that Beck can' t be the guy either. I just put a lot of faith in Shanahan that he knows what he is doing. He has said these two guys are capable, and I trust him.
ExoDus84
Mark one more for FIIGD. I don't think Beck will beat him.

He can't learn 'taller' and better vision.
Destino
Rex Grossman has a stronger arm, a better deep ball, more experience in the offense, and has superbowl experience. Beck has a potentially higher upside. This of course is based on "feelings" the coaches have and the idea that Rex is just never going to be all that good. I think head to head Rex will win. I still can't figure out why no one signed him but Alex Smith and Tavaris Jackson both have jobs. That makes no sense to me.
ChiefPowhatan17
Beck is the unknown, so I vote for him. With Grossman you know what you have.
rebornempowered
Rex is not only going to start he is going to have a good enough season that we will want him back next year to groom the QB of the future.
Ever202Reyes
I have a feeling it will be John Beck. I would not be surprised to see him lose that job to Rex during the season though. We already know Shanahan isn't afraid to bench his starting QB.
Commander PK
We all saw the same thing and it was 1:1 turnover ratio. He can't learn 'taller' and better vision. True but maybe he can overcome those short-comings in an offense tailor made to accentuate his strengths.
kubstix
It was embarassing a bit for me watching Pennington fire 35 yard deep balls on Miami......it would be cringing to watch Moss running a post across the middle only to slow down to 2mph to catch the underthrown pass. gaskinsfan
Beck would only challenge for a starting job in the most QB starved camps, he generally is a backup to #3 qb at best. Grossman will start because he knows the offense and he is our best chance for success this year. Grossman can play, its his decision making and ball security that must improve. Clemens will give Beck a strong run for the money as backup, its entirely possible Beck is released or 3rd QB.
addicted
If by win you want to know the Game 1 starter I'm going out on a limb to say John Beck starts game one. If you mean who plays more this year, I believe that will be Rex Grossman.
diehardskinpsoup
I'm TEAM BECK all the way. The fact is, Rex is probably going to be solid. More solid than any of us believe. At the end of the day, I'll be happy with either of them. Simply because of their time in the system, their familiarity. Our run game looks like it will return this season. Excited. iMeast
Overwhelmingly Grossman in this poll. I hope John Beck proves everyone wrong. Everything I hear the guys say and see him do makes me want to root for him. He's exactly the kind of guy we always say we want in DC character wise. Hopefully he can mentally and physically play the game at the NFL level. HTTR
