DC9
Still waiting on it to hit Fredericksburg... my cousin in Ashburn sent me pics of his front yard and he has a tree down. This is a trip. At least the storm is moving quickly. Good luck everyone.

d0ublestr0ker0ll
At 3:45 it was just beginning to move in to the area, an hour later it's completely over top of the bay. What a speedster. The Derecho was hammering away at full throttle for what seemed like half an hour. This was cupcakes compared to that thing. Mr. Sinister
The way that Weather Alert thing was constantly giving an update while I was watching ESPN, you got the feeling that it was only a matter of time before you had to find a safe place in the house and kiss your ass goodbye. Got a little bit of rain/wind/lightning, but that was pretty much it.
Dan T.
At Nats Park. Middle of ninth it blew in out of nowhere. Fierce wind and horizontal rain. Grounds crew hustled to get the tarp down. One guy got lifted into the air as the edge of the tarp got caught in the wind. Waiting out the delay but beer sales are cut off. Bummer.
Corcaigh
Abandoned a scrimmage I was umpiring as I could see it approaching suddenly. Everyone got soaked before we could get off the field. Very heavy rain for about 20 minutes but the winds weren't that bad where we were. Lost power for three hours in Ashburn.
d0ublestr0ker0ll
A Big Bertha sized rain event with a plethora of thunderstorms is headed our general direction from the southwest. It's still being fed like crazy from the Gulf in to Alabama & Florida panhandle.

Koolblue13
I log on to find storms around you people, log on FB to find out about major storms with random tornadoes that don't ever have tornadoes and it seems okay, but the fact that we have had an insane storm the last day or so, after not having any rain for months and moths make it seem that everything is getting destroyed.
