I said they haven't been to bad today. They have been really bad in the past but today they have given a clean pocket many times

If Ron scapegoats Howell he should be drawn and quartered.

 

It's possible a QB like Vick, peak Wilson, or Lamar might be able to just put the game on their shoulders and run themselves to respectability.

 

He's not that.

 

Acknowledging that, he's really had almost no shot today between protection, drops, play calling and the fact the Jets defense is legitimately good.

It’s almost like it comforts you to think it’s a QB problem as opposed to a much bigger problem.

 

I get it, it’d be much cooler if a shiny new QB could make this team instantly competitive and watchable.

 

I’m just seeing another week of poor protection, slow developing plays, dropped balls, and an inability to even pretend to run the ball.

With as bad as this team looks I am starting to think that even the players are past the point of giving two ****s about the season.  Good news for us is that means we probably don't sneak in a win again this season

The Chargers one year, and I don't remember which one, but sometime in the 2000's, had the #1 statistical offense and defense, and ST kept them out of the playoffs.

This was the “easy game” of the last 3.  Tank or not tank, we would have ended the season 0-2.

I'm not sure I've ever seen so many offsides called on offenses in a game. Both teams have been called a couple times for it now.

Nope all I'm saying is we aren't going anywhere anytime soon until he have a qb.
