Cover opens when you walk in and you press a button on the wall mounted remote to lift the seat. It automatically closes after a couple of minutes of inactivity. But it might be worth it. Best sandwich I had was the woody Allen at Carnegie deli. Open faced sandwich, half pastrami and half corned beef, piled high. Must've been 3-4 lbs of meat on there.
