Welcome to the Commanders Jayden Daniels QB LSU
WilberMarshall replied to PCS's topic in The Stadium
Welcome to the DMV, Jayden. To us, you are more important than the President. Stay healthy, young man. Concentrate on getting better and avoid distractions (commercials). This is one of the best places to play football. Best of luck. -
New Kickoff Rule Aims to Put Returns Back Into the Game

I like it. It eliminates the fair catch. My question is what happens to the squib kick? -
2024 NFL Draft Position/Tracker - Final Pick #2

If we are not in a position to draft the top 2 QBs available, we should draft a Tackle. -
😀😀 Ron fired days ago. Mission Accomplished.😀😄

A coach with a "Run-focused Principle". Like a lot of bad decisions from Ron. I wonder what made him think a Pass-Focused (Pass-happy) OC would work in the NFC East? Way too many things wrong with such a decision. Including why the Defense has regressed... ...yes, the offense hardly sustains drives and the defense is back on the field giving the opposing Offense multiple chances at breaking them down. Hire a new GM. Hire a "Run-focused Principle" coach. -
I agree with you. He has looked better than some of the first-year QBs (guys with less than 17 starts). I like what I have seen of Sam. Disappointed that EB hasn't done enough to shield Sam and manage him properly. No QB can drop back that many times and not make enough mistakes to look bad. He needs a complimentary run game.

I like David Tepper. I like a man who is ready to move on from his mistake(s) and not hold onto it because of how he is going to be perceived by the public. Make a mistake. Own it! ...and pay for it. Then you haven't been paying attention to his long list of faux pas. And most are avoidable errors if one pays attention to detail. -

The Team President should also be on the list of people that should be fired. -

I don't know why people keep saying it is a bad idea to fire a coach with a history of being a poor coach in the middle of the season. He is what his record says he is. The team is not going anywhere. Why not use this opportunity to evaluate if Eric Bienemy should be kept and elevated to HC? What is the worst he could do? Lose the remaining games? ...and get better draft position. In the offseason, I will fire Ron, his coaching staff, the two GMs, and most definitely the Team President. The Team has to be rid of any stench of Daniel Snyder. -
Game Day Thread ~ The Commanders @ The Seachickens!

Can anyone who knows football or has a better set of eyes tell me what is the identity of this team? -
The drops are worrying. But the reason we don't have a 100-yard receiving day by a receiver is because of the design of the offense.

Linebacking is the problem with the backend. They make the DBs look like they are not doing a good job. -
Tough loss. Again, the lack of average/above-average LB play hurts the defense on critical plays. I am holding out hope that EB figures out balance. I need the Receivers to catch routine balls...

Good luck, Chase. Hope you heal up. More damage is done psychologically than the physical damage. Easy to rehab the physical injury. -
They will play better because there are no two cowboys looking to pad their stats in order to get paid. I would like to see 50 and 55 on the field on passing downs knowing that they have closing speed.

Welcome to the Redskins Chase Young DE Ohio State
WilberMarshall replied to Sacks 'n' Stuff's topic in Around the NFL
BS. He was coming off a major injury on both legs (knees). That is what made his trade value low. Not his play. The thing you all fail to understand is that this coaching crew are not good at putting their players in the best position to succeed. Had we drafted Micah Parsons, he would have been asked to do things that are different from his strengths as a player. Things that make him a terror to opposing teams. When you watch the Cowboys they move him around to exploit the weakest part of the OL. They just task him to make plays. -

The pattern is that you should NOT be afraid to make changes just because you made a mistake. Just like QBs, you keep drafting QBs until you get lucky and get a franchise QB.
