  1. I like what I see of Taylor. He is showing growth and improvement game in and game out. Need him to keep improving as a game manager with some daring ability. I know it comes at a cost... also need him to decide early to go for the checkdowns before he gets his backs killed. They are usually open early enough and he can use them to pad stats like Capn Kurt. Above all, it will extend drives. Get those DBs to bite down so the deeper routes can open up. I like that he is coachable. See the improvements.
  2. I watch Chase and I want him to go back and talk to his college DLine coach. He is doing way too much and playing himself out of the play. I keep watching to see how many times he is double teamed and teams are realizing that he is not the same dude as before because they go from paying attention to him early to letting a Tackle block him mano-a-mano. Dude is busy playing pat-a-cake pat-a-cake with whomever is blocking him... hardly being held again unlike before. He might even get to a point where a TE blocks him if he doesn't improve his rush angles. I was pleased to see Toohill get in there and flash... Compare the rush intensity of Ioannidis. Ioannidis takes on two blockers and darn near rips them apart... meanwhile, hommie is busy playing pat-a-cake pat-a-cake and being guided out of harm's way.
  3. I keep hearing how the QB is getting the ball off before the rush can get there... yet I don't see our linemen putting their hands up, blocking the passing lanes and disrupting the passing attack. I can understand QBs who can throw from tough throwing angles but it seems on money downs (3rd downs), they know exactly where to go with the ball pre-snap. By-the-way, I don't think any of the units DL, LB and DBs is playing up to C grade. Highest grade is C- to the DL.
  4. The team is not good enough to carry a (below) average kicker. He actually influences how the team calls plays. But he stays because apparently he is a really nice guy. 😕
  5. Chicken and egg situation. Poor passrush exposing the DBs or poor coverage not letting the Passrush get through? Watching the first 3 games the number one culprit is the D Line. The staff need to figure out the right combination on 3rd and long.
  6. Could easily be fixed. He needs to be... gush, a bit more of a game manager. Use his backs more to get to those manageable 3rd downs. He really has to help his line by dumping off the ball early and choosing his moments.
  7. Welcome. But isn't he a little undersized as LS? I know you don't like up in front of them any longer but... Well, the puns and jokes are funny. Wonder if there's any new one he hasn't heard?
  8. Love the pick as well. We needed to upgrade the speed at the LB position we did that. Dude can cover. I trust Ron and JDR.
  9. LOL. Naaaaa. Just think with above average QB play from a QB who is mobile we could win double digit games. No need splurging on a QB that will eat up cap space or cost draft picks. Me, I will go for another Big Nasty in the draft. Sign a complimentary receiver Another TE FA LBs
  10. I like the little I saw of Kyle Allen. Loved me some Heinicke. I won't mind seeing Tyrod Taylor coming home either.
  11. It is preposterous blaming Chase for the loss. Lions deserved to win the game. Any fan of football knows that giving Stafford time on the clock with 3 timeouts doesn't bode well for the opposing team. Me, I was surprised that they didn't score a touchdown. Stafford picked out a WR streaking down the field wide open... Receiver dropped the sweet pass. We still didn't adjust. In obvious passing downs we didn't win the one-on-one battles and that includes Chase. The team needs to work on their personal groupings for obvious passing downs. I don't think they have figured it out. I still think we made the right choice drafting Chase...just seeing the extra attention he gets justifies the pick. The other DL men should win their own battles.
  12. Welcome to the team, young man. Way to introduce yourself to the fans. Stay healthy.
  13. He will break the single season rookie sack record. ...as long as there's a full season.
  14. What exactly were you expecting? The mistake those Anti-Snyder are making is that they are now looking like a gang-up attempt at a hostile take-over. You have the Minority owners who all along knew that Snyder was a tempestuous lil fella with a massive ego problem that has problems dealing with people; now they are conflating his bad management style with him being a bad person. They have found a common enemy. The feud with WaPo is a long running feud. Folks from the outside might not know this but any fan of the Washington franchise can tell you for free that WaPo is NOT without bias. The animosity is evident... Snyder is making it easy for them... the PRODUCT on the field is lousy. Now, all his detractors have coalesced and are taking turns having a go at him. A bully just met a much bigger set of bullies... His saving grace might just be his wife, Tanya. She should be given more role in running the franchise.
  15. Michael ****ing Wilbon??? Glad I didn't watch the piece. Michael ****ing Wilbon has no knowledge about how the WFT works... he ceased knowing anything about them when he stopped being a reporter. He probably just regurgitated his inner prejudice. A despicable man.
  16. I don't think he can get 4 owners to side with him. The resentment is deep. Many feel he tried to buy wins... by overpaying for players and resetting the salary structure. I remember when he tried to circumvent the cap during the uncapped year. He still hasn't been able to overcome the resentment from being a young owner and him trying to be a hardass in an attempt to gain respect. He went about it all wrong. From being a mean spiteful little fella to also being a litigious 'I will get my pound of flesh' guy. It seems all dem people he has wronged are now coming out of the woodwork to demand retribution. What might just save him might be his propensity to sue.
  17. Season will be played. They will take lessons from leagues here in America and around the world and tweak it. They will probably adopt some "Pandemic Contact Management Technology" where folks willingly give out their phone numbers for contact tracing. This virus is not going anywhere anytime soon. So we must find ways to function...
  18. He better learn how to block his socks off if he wants to see the field. He could become a Niles Paul.
  19. Welcome to the Redskins Mr. Gibson. The biggest asset to bring is your availability. Wishing that you remain healthy and get the opportunity to show your stuff. We love our football over here. Will be rooting for you. HTTR.
  20. Sweat had a below average game. PERIOD. Multiple times to register his presence in the game, ZILCH. Ooh, Wentz just completed yet another 3rd and forever. 😢
