Correct and only 4 of them being run plays is garbage.

Especially when you’re getting your young QB killed.

No it’s not.  It’s the right way to play modern offense.

But, you just have to do it better.  Or else you have Taylor Heinicke/Scott Turner 1966 packers offense.

I want none of that nonsense.

Balance is getting everybody involved.

Mike Leach put it best years ago.

And in the 1980’s running might have slowed down the rush.  Not in todays NFL.

They have to be able to get more plays to get more runs.  With 22 total plays in the half, you can’t tell anything except they can’t execute.

Running 100% slows down the rush. You start moving the ball on run and the defenders start cheating. Defenders cheating to play the run takes them out of coverage for a split second longer. That lets the QB get rid of the ball.

The DL also has to focus on gap plugging rather than gaining ground vertically.

That’s not an 80’s thing. You’re way out there today.

maybe not doing the delayed shotgun handoff would help. And trying to run multiple times in a row at times.

listen I’m a pass supremacist okay I’m the most pass happy guy of all. I’m the guy who’s been posting since 2012 that you don’t need to run the ball to take advantage of play action passing. All I want in this world is an elite passing game. But even I can admit that EB is too extreme on this (especially with a young QB) and it’s not helping us. Not enough play action passing either, now that I think of it

All of this.

EB just refuses to line up and run it from a run formation.

I would do quotes from the Bills message board, but they've put this game in the bag and are focused on Miami. Thanks for showing up, Ron.

RR and JDR can slink, stumble and drag their asses to a win vs teams like AZ and the Broncos. But when we go up against teams that are aggressive and have innovative/imaginative OC's and DC's we get outclassed, out-coached, and out-played. Bad.

Chalk this season up to seeing what personnel we can roll over and work with next season.

Sorry, even the analytics guys I disparage would agree with me on this.

Also, you don’t need to run to make play action work.

Shrug.  We’re not going to agree.  I’ll stop arguing with you about it.

That’s a high level of delusional positivity.

I don’t think we were outclassed when down the past two weeks.  Today, we are pillow-fighting.

To comeback today requires a legit miracle.  I’m all for it, just hard to muster any level of belief it’s possible.

A miracle to jus get out our own way on offense in the 2nd half when we've done it two weeks in a row?

Ok.
