China
First nor'easter of the season could turn into a 'bomb cyclone' in New England A rapidly intensifying nor'easter will bring heavy rain and snow from the Mid-Atlantic through New England this weekend, triggering winter weather alerts in several Northeastern states. There are also high wind warnings for coastal regions of Massachusetts, where wind gusts could reach 50 mph. "As the system rapidly intensifies, it will also bring windy conditions, especially along the coast from the mid-Atlantic through Maine," said CNN meteorologist Taylor Ward. "Expect winds to gust 30 to 40 mph Saturday, with some gusts perhaps even topping 50 mph in areas like Cape Cod." China
Nor’easter leaves tens of thousands without electricity PORTLAND, Maine (AP) - The leader of a utility in Maine says a nor’easter over the weekend was “one of the biggest storms in terms of destruction in this century in the last 20 years.” Central Maine Power executive David Flanagan says power won’t be fully restored for some customers in hard-hit areas until Wednesday night. The storm brought heavy snow, sleet, rain and powerful gusts that knocked out electricity to more than 225,000 customers Saturday and Sunday in Maine. It was the hardest-hit state in New England. d0ublestr0ker0ll
Looks like snow for Tulsa on Sunday. Accumulation predictions are 0"-3". I'm stoked. My dog will love it.
Mr. Sinister
I wouldnt mind a nasty blizzard. Wouldnt have to worry about the suicidal trip down 270/495, and the people who need to stay home and don't, would have no choice.

d0ublestr0ker0ll
Ended up with 6" of snow. Biggest single snowfall since 2013. A system looks like it wants to add to that tomorrow. Couple inches forecasted. Right now, the temps are in the low 20s after a decent melt yesterday after the snow stopped. Ice is a huge problem right now. Worried. These people are such noobs and the city is so ill equipped. Backup on the turnpike had people stuck on it for 14 hours yesterday.

DC on the line. Keep in mind nam not good >48hrs and this counts all frozen precip as snow and doesn’t factor in ground melt. But hey, it’s pretty.
