Has your team support wained due to ownership or can you see past it?

  1. 1. Will you attend a game and support the team while Dan Snyder is the owner of the team, regardless of success?

    • Yes
    • No
    • I would start attending games if Dan was no longer the owner of the team.

The people who say that Rivera is or should be coming back, I ask, WHY? It’s becoming evident that we’re going to have a high draft pick. If Rivera is selecting that pick, that would be a huge mistake.

Who is saying that?

I’m not going to name names, but there’s a few notable posters that says there’s no chance he gets fired and that him returning is pretty much a forgone conclusion. I hope they’re wrong.

Well I also think it's unlikely Dan fires him. But that doesn't mean that's what I want to happen. Those are two separate questions.

This WILL be Ron's last season. We just got blown out by a backup qb. We need a young coach from a winning program. Ken Dorsey, Kellen Moore, Byron Leftwich.  Someone that understands modern football.  Someone that can play the chess game.

This isn't a terrible team for a new coach. We have weapons on offense. We have a strong d line. We have promising young linebackers that need proper coaching.  And we will have a top 5 pick for the new coach to get his QB.

I still can't ****ing believe the Saints made that trade for no one in particular.

They are always looking for some one to fleece like they did for bradford. They arent afraid to take a step back if it means taking 2 steps forward. This franchise has never done this under dan because every year is about doing as well as they possibly can. Nothing beyond.

Evenings like this, my mind wanders to things like "what if less than 20k home fans show to home games from now on?" or "imagine if nobody called in to sportstalk shows about this team anymore" or "a shadow ban of those team on social media with a loss of most followers would be cool". Just check out for at least the rest of the season. That would be something new.

At least in the worst version of their terrible current uniforms, they removed any visual attachment to tradition. Thank them for that.

I love the golf cart at the end

Dan was in the golf cart. He can’t afford the motorcade.

that was definitely my belief, that he’d be our Marvin Lewis regardless. But this season is collapsing in spectacular  fashion

what else can this franchise do to improve?  besides, "EFFFFF Dan Snyder comments, nothing will improve until he sells the team" ?  does the team trade Daron Payne for an Olineman before the trade deadline?  does the team trade for an Olineman for next year's pick?  only thing i can hope for is that the entire team plays decent football.  protect the QB, stop giving up the big plays, stop the undisciplined penalties! i guess it's just too much to ask for.

Notable posters here, maybe not the same ones, claimed in 2013 that Shanny wasn't going anywhere. How'd that turn out?

That said, I can't see Ron being fired unless we go like 5-12 or worse.

It wouldn't be by their choice. But if players started to demand trades or say they wouldn't sign a long term deal because the owner's history of treating women and people in general. That's the probably the only way. Change not by choice.

Idk, it’s depressing but truly none of that stuff matters with Snyder. That’s the truth so it’s hard to get passionate about (well, anything) shuffling around the deck chairs on the Titanic, in-season. The offseason is where excitement lives for this team, if only because of the .05% chance the dude sells and/or we draft the next Herbert or whatever. For me personally, I can’t care about whether we should trade a ‘23 5th round pick for a team’s top swing OT so we can move Cosmi to OG or whatever.

While Dan is a major problem there has been a significant problem that has been lacking since Mike left. Even then Mike was a horrific personnel guys. The team lacks a coherent identity and long term plan. It’s a hodgepodge of individual moves that on surface level thah look ok but when are put together are total trash. They never build anything.

I will be LIVID if that happens. If we are winning? Fine. But if we have a losing record and we lose that 2nd round pick because Ron is stubborn and refuses to bench Wentz? I will lose my ****.

Should be fired on the sidelines the moment it rolls over.

I’m one of the people who thinks that.  That said, this is looking like a team that could potentially lose every game on the schedule at this point.  When I said that, I wasn’t accounting for such a god awful season.

That said, I still don’t see Dan spending the money to replace Rivera and all the folks he brought in.  Nor do I see him knowing what to do post Rivera.  So even if he wants to dump him, those are my reasons for it not happening.

Ron wont even think about it I guarantee you.

Who do you guys want to pick the next coach, the idiot team president that the league insisted we hire or the drunk owner who used the club as his private escort service.

This expansion team that wears black uniforms in Dallas is screwed. After 40 years I have a favorite player on the team once he is gone I am jumping off this ship like many will be doing or already done.

Got some news from an inside source that makes me feel a whole lot better about things.

The hot word on the street is that Ron's determined to turn things around and once he watches the film he'll start telling individual players what they did wrong and then they'll start playing better and winning games.

Yaaay!

This is great news!

Brandon Brown Eagles

Ian Cunningham Eagles

Ed Dodds Colts

Brandon Hunt Steelers

Will Mclay Cowboys

Eliot Wolf Patriots

Chat Brinker Packers

That’s my list right now. Get one of them. Many of these guys interviewed with “bad” teams this past offseason

The worst thing Washington could do is double down on a mistake, and having a lame duck in charge of next years draft would be a huge mistake.
