Nirvana > Tool

And “Sober” is the whiniest, passive-aggressive slog ever recorded by anyone.

It's about the struggle of alcoholism.

You either are trolling beyond belief, or a mega bamma.

Adam Jones would guitar circles around you.

Would Cobain?

Kurdt Kobain

Is that a character in Inglorious Basterds? 😄

Gotta say, the more I watch the Manson family vs. Pitt/Leo scene in Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, the more I think it's the GOAT scene in movie history.

Empire's Hoth battle and final lightsaber duel.  Final lightsaber duel in ROTJ.  Pulp Fiction apartment scene.  Almost any scene in T2.

That Manson scene is insanely good.

Questions in the lyrics of a song are generally a sign of whiney passive aggressiveness.

Why can't we not be sober?
I just want to start things over
And why can't we sleep forever?
I just want to start this over
Why?
I want what I want
I want what I want
I want what I want
I want what I want

Dude.  My dog is less whiney waiting for his breakfast in the morning.  And if he doesn't get it, more overtly aggressive.

I still haven't figured out if Tool is the name of the band or their fans?

Got to love how passive aggressive these two posts are.

Are you ****ing serious?

What in the **** are those lyrics passive aggressive towards?  An addiction?  His own self?

Stupid.

It occurs to me you might not understand how these sayings work

I’ve never heard a tool song in my life. But I enjoy tool fans getting triggered.

I went to a concert in February. It was great.

i too enjoy the triggering.

There's a shadow just behind me
Shrouding every step I take
Making every promise empty
Pointing every finger at me
Waiting like a stalking butler
Who upon the finger rests
Murder now the path of must we
Just because the son has come

But yea, ghost > nirvana > tool in the lyrics department….

This is for the Nickleback fans…..Ihave a 3 panel cartoon that I can’t post here, so I will explain…there is a man and a woman

Panel 1 Woman: Who is your favorite metal band?

Panel 2 Man: Nickleback

Panel 3: She has him bent over and pegging him. (This is the reason I can’t post it here)
