I think with our salary cap it would be tough to do a first day move. Those are usually premium contracts. I suspect we will be bargain hunters once again.

tons of moves happening from other teams....

and the Skins..... nothing

To be fair to them, we don't need to act just yet. Plenty of options with players/contracts, pretty easy to manage once the gates open.

Im ready to slice and dice this roster and get some fresh blood up in herr.

Especially on defense where the lack of speed and overall athleticism is not ideal.

Oh wait that applies to the offense too, eff.

CBS' Jason La Canfora predicts Josh Rosen will be traded to the Redskins for a third-round pick.

La Canfora is purely speculating, but he is also convinced Kyler Murray will be the No. 1 overall pick to the Cardinals. As La Canfora points out, there are not many teams beyond the upper reaches of the draft that need a quarterback this offseason. With Nick Foles seemingly heading to the Jaguars, that does indeed leave the Redskins as perhaps the most plausible landing spot.

Browns working hard to get Odell Beckham Jr...

Pricetag too high for AB but somehow I think the Raiders get it done.

Agree the Raiders will get AB. He'll be too expensive for us anyhow.

On the one hand, a third rounder for a former top ten pick sounds like a steal. On the other, if they are willing to give up on a top ten pick after only a year... that sounds pretty toxic.

Might be worth the gamble, but eesh!

They must think Murray is a once a decade talent.  I'd take rosen for a 3rd and if he doesn't become our franchise guy then he's our new backup for cheap on a couple years while we draft a franchise guy.  Then perhaps we could trade Rosen for a nice pick back the way NE does.

Beats using our 1st, 2nd, future picks to move up to 5 or something.

Norman, Reed, and Doctson on that trade list.   Interesting.  Make it happen but Keep Ionidis if we can.

Are those 3 on the trade list or you just throwing that out there?.

HTTR

If we can get Rosen for a 3rd why is he not a Washington Redskin already. We will still have 1st, 2nd and 3rd round picks in the draft.

Get it done Bruce

Think we'll still make another QB move to get younger. Hopefully so anyway.

Trading for Keenum?  WTF??

Doesn't he have a big cap number?

No, restructured down to only 3.5mil.

Broncos are eating some of it.

Think this makes sense. With our o-line sending 2 qbs to the IR last season, made be more wise not to make such a big investment in a qb right now. This may mean we're not drafting a qb in the first round?!?! Will Greer with the 3rd, maybe.

If this allows us to trade down and get another 2nd or 3rd then load up on OL and our other holes, I'm fine with it.  Keenum might not be light years ahead of Colt but he is injury insurance.  We still need a young QB to groom.  Hell get Grier or that dude from Buff and he could replace Reed.  LOL

Not enough, we need to be at least 3 starter deep at all 5 oline positions to have a chance.

Landon Collins is not good in coverage. He's only been effective when the Giants played him in the box.  The Skins need a better talent for pass protection.  There's many better options for coverage safeties in FA this year.

Skins  need AP added ASAP for a multitude of reasons.

Makes no sense to draft a QB this year.  Too many holes and there's far more reasonable logic to wait for 2020 draft for a QB in the draft. Would be better to trade Case Keenum to AZ in the event AZ takes Murray.  They'd get a vet backup and possibly a middle pick for Rosen.

They need an Edge Rusher, WR, and OG.  Vet coverage safety can be had in FA.  Again, Collins isn't good in coverage!

Absolutely no way the Skins trade for AB.  Zero.

Personally, I like the trade... Keenum is probably just as good as Alex Smith was... and it doesn’t cripple our cap and only cost us a sixth rounder...

Hopefully next off season we can trade for Tannehill, then the following year we grab Bridgewater.
