You want me to list the stories that Trump has claimed were "fake news" that ended up being completely true?

Would you like to go tit for tat on blatant, intentional lying coming from the media and blatant, intentional lying coming from Trump?

The "Fake news" is the ONLY thing keeping this corrupt administration in check.

Oh god, please do.

Keep dreaming. Just remember the crushing feeling of all the Hillary followers on election night. I expect it's coming again when no charges of any significance come near Trump over the collusion illusion. Midterms gain seats for the R's. And President Trump is re-elected in 2020 by the landslide all the left's media sources claimed Hillary was going to win by in 2016.

If I'm wrong, I promise to come back for some humble pie.

If it were, Mueller would be tripping over his own feet to file charges. I'll believe if when and if there's a conviction of Trump.

Ah, got it.

Our "independent thinker" who verifies all of his own information, himself, having admitted that the Trump campaign colluded with the Russian government (and trying to throw up several untrue excuses for why collusion is OK with him.  If Trump does it.) suddenly decides that the definition of the word "collusion" includes the phrase "if a Republican House and a Republican senate vote to impeach and remove a Republican President" as a necessary part of the definition.  Anything short of that?  Doesn't count.

Sure you've moved that goal line far enough to protect Your Guy?  Sure you wouldn't want to, say, declare that you won't believe it unless Trump personally admits it?  I mean, wouldn't want you to paint yourself into a position where you'd have to admit something that you've already admitted that you know is true.

Do you think the Rs gain seats in the House? The Senate I can see, but not the House.

And if I had to bet right now, I think he does get re-elected, but also see him losing the popular vote again. Which will only increase his insecurity.

Bro, you've been wrong like 6 times in the last 10 minutes. You ain't gonna come back for no pie because you're shameless and live in an alternate reality.

You: Russia didn't hack the Republicans.

Me: Yes they did, look it up.

You: I just looked it up.... BWAHAHAHA!!!! Comey?  Yeah right! I don't believe the FBI or the other government agencies or the media or even the Republican politicians who admitted to being hacked. I believe the guy who spent 8 years telling me that Obama was born in Kenya, that he didn't bang the porn star, that she wasn't paid off, that he didn't know about the payments ahead of time, that it was the democrats who were separating children from their parents at the border and that there was nothing he could do about it, that Mexico was going to pay for the wall, that he had something so much better than Obamacare, that he knows more than our top generals, that Obama wiretapped him, that he didn't dictate the letter about the Trump Tower meeting to his son, that he gave the military their first raises in 10 years, etc etc etc etc etc. That's the guy I believe!!"

Bro...did you seriously just repeat that inane Kellyanne Conway farce from Fox News?  :ols:

That was honestly one of the single stupidest things I've ever witnessed a politician do. And that is saying A TON because it also includes **** like Jim Inhofe bringing in a snowball to disprove that global warming is real.

. . . that he meant to say "wouldn't", that his election crowd was bigger than Obama's, that he won the popular vote, that he'd release his taxes after the election, that his children wouldn't be involved in his government, that he'd be working too hard to play golf, . . . .

C'mon, people, let's keep this rolling.

I actually didn't. I haven't even seen Trump talking heads on Fox repeat that ridiculous crap that she spewed from her **** cannon that day along with her embarrassing flash cards. I guess we've found one, though I have a suspicion now that Ax may actually truly be a bot. I do have to admit, though....that bit that Conway did DID have some hilarious memes that came out afterwards.

You may agree or disagree with the choices that were made but to simply blame it all on "Bush's Lies" ignores a multitude of influential factors.

I don’t disagree there were a lot of other factors involved. Perhaps lied was strong but I don’t recall seeing anything about intelligence ever actually confirming there were WMDs, only that they had the capability to make them. This is not how it was represented by the administration to the American people. Ever afterward the only thing similar that was found were a small number of old munitions from pre1991 when they stopped producing their aresenal.

I want to quit looking at this thread. It lost almost all interest to me like 3 days ago when it took me 9 minutes to out the current, er, contwarian, as a bullshiiter of the second-highest order (just below Trump).

I admit, however, that I am very much enjoying @Sacks 'n' Stuff both destroy his rhetoric and brutally clown him at the same time.  I cant stop clicking on it.

What seemed to have happened with Bush and the WMDs is basically that some of the higher up pols in the admin (Wolfowitz, etc) created closed door groups outside from the IC that were essentially echo chambers where they were all already convinced that Saddam had WMDs so were just cherry picking things as well as (IIRC) actively ignoring IC reports that stated he didn't have WMDs or even sabotaging them. Then those echo chambers became the preferred source of intelligence and were the ones that had Bush's ear. It wasn't an IC failure so much as it was pure hubris by ****ty people.

When W took office, two of the things he did were:

1)  Disbanded the group within CIA that was tasked with gathering information on Ossama bin Laden.

2)  And created a group, I think within the Pentagon, tasked with grabbing any and all intel concerning Iraq, and forwarding that intel to the White House, before the CIA had a chance to inspect the intel for credibility.

Thing is Saddam had "WMDs". Ws administration knew he had them. How? Because a number of them worked in the Reagan and HW administrations when Saddam acquired them from the US.

Problem was Saddam used all the "WMDs" he had purchased in the Iran Iraq war. As well as against the Kurds and Iraqis. Also he had no infrastructure to build more. Why? UN weapons inspectors were doing their jobs. #oops
