Going Commando
This is a 7 or 8 win team this season. I was hoping they could string some wins together and sneak into the playoffs in a down year for the division. But unless 7 or 8 wins does it, it's not going to happen. The team is headed in the right direction, but the defense is still mediocre at best, and this offense isn't ready for prime time yet. You can tell the offensive line is going to be the heart of the team in a couple of seasons, but they don't have the experience to be consistent in their execution each game. Very good against the Giants, poor against the Cowboys. Cousins and Matt Jones also have a lot of growing to do too before they are a good and reliable backfield. ddub52
Well, next week we need to beat a desperate Chicago team on the road, coming off a loss.
Koolblue13
There was not a lack of fire or focus. Just a lack of talentthey blitzed a lot and our interior line is not a strength. Our inside linebackers aren't great. Our ST depth isn't there. We don't have talent.
mammajamma
It's funny how everyone has given up, but we are still in 1st place with tiebreakers
Momma There Goes That Man
People need to chill out about the DJAX turnover. Djax made up for it with the TD. He would have been labeled a hero if it worked. We won the turnover battle, we shouldn't have been tied 9-9 at that point. There's a huge difference in being a hero and making a play and being a complete dumbass and putting your team at risk. It's not a fine line between the two either
Conn
He atoned for that boneheaded play. This is on special teams and not taking advantage of opportunities. HTTR! No, he didn't. He semi redeemed himself, but we would have been the ones with that game winning FG if he didn't do that, so just because he tied it up doesn't mean it's not his fault anymore. We went from tied with the ball and plenty of time to tied and on defense with our backs to the wall.
Agent23
I'm more of a lurker on these forums, but this game ripped my heart out. Just when you think we can build a little momentum and separate a little in the division we lose to a team that hasn't won a game without Romo this year. And oh yeah, Desean Jackson: you're a selfish player who gets paid a lot of money and to make a mistake like that is ridiculous. Almost as ridiculous was when he was celebrating and waving his finger around after his touchdown. Dude, just hand the ball to the ref. Do your job like Larry Fitzgerald or Calvin Johnson would. Unreal..you just made the dumbest play all year. Stop acting like you just won the Redskins the Super Bowl!!
RedskinsLegacy
Happy to see it. But damn how do we wait ALLLL game to throw that ball to him. This right here! There is NO excuse for our offense not to take shots down the field often! We have the fast receivers and we have the QB who can deliver right in stride. The sooner Sean McVay grows a set and starts taking these shots, the sooner this offense will take another step and put the points on the board. The Redskins could have ended this game in the 1st half if they would have attacked a defense that would have been helpless because of blitzing every play. The bomb was there all night and McVay wouldn't go to it.
Conn
People need to chill out about the DJAX turnover. Djax made up for it with the TD. He would have been labeled a hero if it worked. We won the turnover battle, we shouldn't have been tied 9-9 at that point. He did not fully make up for it! That's stupid. We were tied with the ball and plenty of time to drive and win. Then, after his TD, we were tied but Dallas had the ball driving to win. Big difference, dude.
Going Commando
Honestly at this point I hope the Giants or Eagles win the division. A title would be fools gold because it would be a one and done playoff Be nice to have a division championship in our ledger though, even if anyone cared to point out that it was only because the division was horrible. arftech
He didn't atone for anything. We shouldn't have been in that position where the kickoff cost us if he hadn't screed the punt I don't agree...so lets move on. HTTR!
#1skinsfanever
Offense was terrible. Defense couldn't force a punt. Stupid, choking play. Game ball goes to the refs though. NO NO NO Defense played one helluva game. 3 turnovers held them out of the endzone for 58min and that was off of a fumble. No blame goes to the D for me. Murphs56
It's funny how everyone has given up, but we are still in 1st place with tiebreakers lol, this is a disaster of epic proportions. You couldn't beat a Dallas team without a starting QB, at home on Monday Night football. It's pretty embarrassing.
SkinsFTW
No biggie. I don't want to see the Redskins get punked 38-10 by Seattle at home in the first round of the paloffs anyway.

SkinFanZim
Redskins: "I promise not to pull the ball before you kick it this time, Charlie Brown." Me (CharlieB.) "Ok, here goes. I really think this is the one." Every time.
DM72
Tucker, how do you not kick that ball through the endzone? And Gruden. You're a chump. If I didn't know any better, I could have swore Deon and Revis were patrolling the Cowboys backfield. How can you possibly be THAT conservative? Cousins. You looked scared for most of the game. Tonight you looked like a backup.
dyst
...and this is why we need to pause with all the sign Kirk, bring back Jay talk, and we're going to the playoffs talk. We're not a good team. We can't even win 2 games in a row. That's not asking for a lot. Good teams win two. We can't. Every time we've had a chance we blow it. Hazel-Ra
(Sigh) DeSean... TD or not you still put your teammates in a difficult spot by trying to act like you were still at Cal. You are not at Cal... You are actually slower then you were at Cal. That move will never ever work out well for you ever again. This is the NFL. Reflect on this and come back more professional in your demeanor. You probably won't... But try. As for the team... We're just not ready for Prime Time... Yet. The pieces will come. NoVaSkins21
Jackson shouldn't have been in a position to atone for mistake he didn't to make. Instead of being smart and taking the ball upfield like any put returners do, he decided to be splashy and stupid. This loss hurts because they had this game, but couldn't finish. Missing FGs, not converting short yardage plays and stupid penalties. Any team that turns the ball over 3 times should lose, but they kept Dal@ss in it by not doing what they should've done. GoDeep81
Well Obviously, lol should have just added that. Nobody is throwing a Hail Mary from the 20 Nah, we should of downed it and run it up the gut on 1st and 80 with 9 seconds to go! They fell for it all night.. bradboyd80
All those saying five wins was enough for Jay to keep his job. You sure? That was the worst NFL game of the season in front of the entire league. He is supposed to be an offensive coach. Cousins could have earned a contract tonight. The league will pause in him now... All you have to do is blitz. We picked up a center, De La Palma, how horrible is he that he cannot beat out Ribs who is a a straight-up joke. DJax you are a selfish punk, but I don't blame you for being desperate to make a play seeing as how our game plan waste your speed. ST and D showed their true colors when it mattered. A whole week of hearing the truth.. The division is an embarrassment to the 12 Lombardi trophies it has amongst three of its teams. The D did not show their true colors. The did more than pull their weight. If anything, the offense showed their colors. Forced 3 turnovers and held Dez in check (3 catches/60 yards). Djax cost us that game with his fumble. To claim you don't blame him for trying to do something because he was getting neglected in the passing game, just shows he needs to go (if that's how he feels). Otherwise, it's a tie game, ball in our hands, with a minute and forty to go. Plenty of time to get down the field and kick a FG.
PigskinRedskin
It's funny how everyone has given up, but we are still in 1st place with tiebreakers Haven't won on the road this season, so that's the 3 games and our only home game is the Bills who have been playing good football and have a good receiver, running back and good defense. After tonight's showing, what gives you confidence to win out?
