This morning, at 2:46 AM, my father succumbed to his battle with early onset Alzheimer's at only 63 years old. He was born in DC and grew up in Silver Springs, and outside of his family, loved the Washington Redskins more than anything in this world. skins island connection Posted October 26, 2015 Share Posted October 26, 2015 Prayers are with ya bud, it is really upsetting to lose a close friend or family member. I lost my dad when I was 17 and my mom when I was 27, it still hurts today. As my parents are, he is in a much better place, totally healed, and has the absolute best seat in the house.
