Things like this should remind us all to appreciate the time we have with loved ones while we can. Get our priorities straight. I have an Aunt that I'm very close to that is a couple years into her fight against Alzheimers and I'm dreading the downslope. I hope you have as many happy memories with your father to fall back on as I do with my Aunt, because I imagine when the time comes that that's all that will get me through it.
