  1. People in Florida don't drive any crazier than drivers in DMV. Pretty much anywhere in the civilized world is going to have erratic drivers when there is a person walking across lanes of traffic on a highway.
  2. What an amazing career. I'm glad that I had the opportunity to see it and watch him play. Twenty years from now, the kids of today and those yet to come are only going to be able to look at highlights. They won't be able to see and be part of the magic of witnessing a 25 point come back in the second half of a Super Bowl. We are lucky we could be here to see the GOAT play!
  3. Again, that's why I don't trust this team to get the QB situation right.
  4. Very true. However, who do we have that you trust to make the call on who to pick at QB? I don't know that there is a single person in Ashburn that I trust to make the correct call, draft or FA.
  5. The true problem is us, the fans. Primarily, the fans that get sucked in time and time again, season after season, thinking that somehow, someway, despite all odds and facts to the contrary, this season will be different. A mediocre coach whose previous records aren't really much to brag about (let's be honest; we wouldn't be worried or intimidated if Ron had been hired by a division opponent) is not going to be a miraculous savior here. No matter how many times we see the exact movie play here the past two plus decades, some keep expecting the ending to change. Until the fans stop getting their hopes up and having undeserved expectations, we will have threads like this, because those hopes and expectations lead to the frustrations and the pains that push fans to start these threads. Nothing, I mean nothing, that this team has done in the past decade is reason for fans to think things are going to change. It is beyond depressing, but it is the truth. If we want real change for this organization, it needs to start with us. Stop falling for the same bull**** every year. Stop purchasing team gear, tickets, etc. Stop calling into the radio shows. Stop watching any of the junior high quality produced TV shows. Hell, stop watching the games. All of the numbers all around need to dip, and dip badly. The CBA makes it tough for Snyder to feel a pinch from lack of ticket sales for games, but lack of merch sales, ratings drops on radio and television, those numbers can't be hidden from sponsors and the league, and that will hit Snyder's wallet. That's when we will start to see signs of true change: hiring innovated coaches, not re-treads and college coaches with no NFL experience; true talent evaluators/GM hires; complete draft selections and FA acquisitions that are true needs and value, etc.; and Snyder staying the **** away from all team operations (including his wife). Until we see ALL of that, there is no reason to think things will be different.

  7. If they break ground by late 2024/early 2025, they will be fine. The problem is not having a site yet. That, in itself, could take a couple of years to get approved and purchased, especially if they want it in DC.

  9. Actually, it's evidence that Watson has setup message appointments with a random person found on Instagram for the soul purpose to engage in sexual activities. This actually gives legitimacy to the other 15 accusers' claims.
  10. https://sports.yahoo.com/the-lawsuit-that-is-most-problematic-for-deshaun-watson-014827728.html Amidst the pile of lawsuits Deshaun Watson is facing, one could prove to be the most problematic.
  11. That does paint a picture of a clear MO on his part. Again, I haven't heard from him yet other than the usually denial, so I don't want to get ahead of myself here, but these documents show a pretty sick individual. Dude has enough money to get high-class escorts every night; why would he go this route unless there is something really wrong with him?
  12. That's what is so troubling in my eyes. Not that I am assuming Watson is guilty; I'll wait for him to have his day before jumping to any conclusions, but most of the time when **** like this happens, it is people you would never expect that are the ones behind it.
  13. Yeah, I always take the wait and see, innocent until proven guilty approach, but this isn't looking good for him right now.
  14. https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/31081473/massage-therapists-sue-houston-texans-qb-deshaun-watson-calls-allegations-baseless Watson may end up not having any chance of getting out of Houston if these allegations scare off teams. Two have filed with possibly six more coming? Doesn't look good.
  15. Let's also not forget how Alex has played in the playoffs in his career: 2-5, .286%, and that is when he has been healthy and younger/faster. His style of play is not successful in the playoffs, and I'm sure RR is aware of that.
  16. That ****tard is getting torn up with the comments. Hahahaha!
  17. Brady put up great numbers last year with nothing to help him as far as a receiving core or TE, and a rotating MASH unit to block for him. If he lost a step, he still has to lose a couple more to be on par with the average QB's in the league. If he is signed to a team with a legit #1 WR, a healthy o-line, and a pass-catching TE threat, he will win his division pretty easily and be in the conference championship.
  18. I don't know. The way the Redskins have been doing things, if they fire someone, they may wait until it's that person's birthday.
  19. If anything, it should be the latter. This thread is titled, "The Race to Black Monday," which signifies firings of all positions around the league, not just coaches. That certainly includes GM's.
  20. They just got confused on which former Redskins coordinator was getting it.
