As much bad, crazy stuff as has happened, the score is relatively close where most teams would've been blown out 40-6 in the exact same situation.

Indeed.  It's unfortunate how it happened out, but I really encourage people to let go of this game.  Take some heart in the recovery here, however meaningless and then see what happens in the next few weeks.
