Yeah, that's not going to happen. I don't see either Gruden, Scot, or Dan being willing to let Griffin go play in division for Chip Kelly, just in case. If Griffin went there and played great, all 3 would be fired (Dan firing himself).

Rams waive OT Battle after 58 days on roster

Rams waived OT Isaiah Battle.

The Rams saw fit to use a fifth-round pick on Battle on July's Supplemental Draft, but have cut the cord after only 58 days on the roster. It's a completely inexcusable waste of resources from a team that lacks depth at almost every position. Coach Jeff Fisher/GM Les Snead have routinely proven to have no idea how to best manage an NFL roster in the 21st century. The Rams will undoubtedly try to stash Battle on the practice squad, but he might not make it through waivers.
