TSO Posted July 29, 2015 Share Posted July 29, 2015 Guys, Scot and Gruden will be talking everyday. It's really that simple. Scot has been known to be extremely collaborative, almost to a fault. Furthermore, they likely have a plan in place with goals or milestones they expect to see out of Robert by certain points in the season. So if Robert is clearly failing them Scot is not going to force Gruden to continue to play him for the heck of it. Scot also has to worry about the option at some point as well (a point in which would probably be a very attainable goal for Robert to have achieved), so I'm pretty sure both Scot and Gruden are comfortable with everything and know the situation well. That's part of the calming presence a legit GM brings to an organization. We've seen it from everyone all offseason. I would venture to guess that Grudens ability to coach and adapt to his personnel is being graded as much as Roberts ability to make progressions from the pocket. It would be Scots call to see if the problem lies in Roberts abilities or Grudes willingness to adapt to the talent that our GM procures.
