Concept of the thread is sound, however you should update the OP with the transactions as they occurs so there is one place that's a reference.

I think the only "official" change so far is Haslett.

We haven't seen 100% confirmation on GM.

I request that Larry Michael be close to the top of this list.

Dude has ZERO play by play skills.  I get it, he's close with some of ya'll, let him continue to do the communications thing... great.

He has no business being the voice of the Redskins though.

Ray Wright while it's still there.

Ray Wright enters his fourth season of his second stint with the Redskins after being named the head strength and conditioning coach on February 12, 2010.

Wright joined the Redskins after spending eight seasons with the Houston Texans.

He was named the Texans’ head strength and conditioning coach in 2009 after serving the previous seven seasons as the team’s assistant strength and conditioning coach.

Wright oversees all aspects of the Redskins’ workout program, getting the team in peak condition for training camp and throughout the season.

He is certified by both the National Strength and Conditioning Association and the American College of Sports Medicine.

Before going to Houston, Wright spent one season as the assistant strength and conditioning coach at the University of Maryland in 2001, helping the Terrapins’ football team capture the Atlantic Coast Conference title and a berth in the Orange Bowl.

Prior to his stint in College Park, Wright spent six months with the Chicago Bears as a college and pro personnel assistant. He spent the 2000 season as the recruiting coordinator at Cornell University.

This marks Wright’s second stint with the Redskins as he originally entered the NFL in 1997 as a scouting intern with Washington. He was promoted to college/pro scouting administrator in 1998, then to the club’s director of player programs in 1999.

Wright played football at Duke from 1990-95 before working as a personal trainer for one year in Durham, N.C.

A native of Fort Worth, Texas, Wright is a certified strength and conditioning specialist by the American College of Sports Medicine. He is married to his wife, Angela.

Here's the news on his release earlier today.

The Redskins have fired head strength and conditioning coach Ray Wright, a person with knowledge of the situation confirmed.

Wright had held his position since 2010, when the Redskins hired him after he spent eight seasons helping run the Houston Texans’ strength and conditioning program, serving as head of that department in 2009.

The reasons for Wright’s dismissal weren’t immediately clear. However, he was well-respected by players and members of the coaching staff.

The Redskins this season endured an injury-plagued campaign, with 13 players ending the year on the injured reserve list. But it wasn’t clear if Redskins brass believed that Wright’s efforts, or the lack there of, played a role.

The ****?

http://blog.redskins.com/2009/01/06/the-secret-life-of-trainers-a-colt-brennan-film/

EDIT:  This was like 6 years ago at this point - so my memory seems to miss the line that says "even though Colt Brennan says it's jazzercise it's actually P90x".

But still.

Nebraska's book from 40 years ago still holds true for me.

EDIT 2:  And I guess he wasn't even here then, so disregard.

Ray was also in the RGIII documentary after the injury, for those who are unfamiliar. Lot of injuries this year.

Yep... and if he was in the military I would've counted one pull-up

Lock out your elbows, Rob!  You're cheating yourself and your team mates!

Good thread idea.

Just an idea for the OP, maybe do what the Free Agent thread does, where it breaks them up into categories, making it easier to read.

Like maybe:

Incoming/Acquisitions:

Scot McCloughan - General Manager (replacing Bruce Allen)

Departures:

Jim Haslett - Defensive Coordinator

Ray Wright - Strength and Conditioning Coach

Transfers:

Bruce Allen - TO President FROM President and General Manager
