USS Redskins Posted January 5, 2015 Share Posted January 5, 2015 Came back from lunch and found out my company has been acquired by another... just switched jobs internally (folding my service into another) and Jan 1 was official start date. Lost 75% of my business on the switch (for various reasons). Basically haven't slept in weeks b/c of stress... and last 5 years has been one long mess of nail biting, worry about state of business, layoffs, cuts, etc... and now this. I am in sales and usually we fair a bit better than most but who the hell knows? On topic, I am crapping my pants. Been here 15 years now. Have great PTO and health benefits are nice, too. Damn. Mine kids would have a new dad because I'd be dead from the stress. You either can do sales or you can't. I used to feel guilty selling Good Humor bars from a truck. Was it a little place called Mary Ann's Hammocks in the Hammock District?. The nice thing about that place is Mary Ann gets in the hammock with you.
