The TMZ and E-Network style reporting and programming that dominates their networks now is for sheep that don't think. They also have turned themselves into the Sports version of MSNBC pushing a Hollywood Socialist agenda driven by their corporate master company Disney. Mort wants to be the only "insider" who can look at his phone while on camera at espn. Schefter and Mort eventually will have to have a sword fight to see who will be the one. grego Posted November 6, 2014 Share Posted November 6, 2014 In Schefter's segment on the Sports Fix the other day he said Shanny wasn't his source but then at the end he started to reveal he did talk to Shanny about it too, then stopped himself in midsetence and said I shouldn't go there or something to that effect i heard that too. i'm sure it was something about snyder or the team and yet another drive by in an attempt to shift blame from shanny to snyder, or anybody else. on a related note, even though sheehan cant stop himself from deifying the shanahans, i havent heard a peep about kyle and how awesome hes doing in cleveland for weeks. He has been known as a fiery guy and easily frustrated Motive: if other GMs think his numbers are down because of bad qb play he might salvage a contract come FA Griffin buys Pizza at his restaurant. He'd never turn on a customer. Unlikely. 2. McVay. Isn't he Shannys guy anyway? Motive: needs to retain his status as an up and coming offensive mind despite the fact that the offense can't block, run, or pass. Blame QB It's more likely that McVay would try and throw Gruden under the bus for keeping the play calling duties himself. The McVay story would be that Jon would text a play to Dan, who would then relay it by secure phone line to Bruce in the coaches box, who would tell a coach on the headset, who would tell Jay, who would then tell McVay to send it in. Which is why there are so many delay of game penalties. 3. Haslett Motive: he reads ES This is unlikely because Haslett can't actually read by himself. 4. Polumbus Motive: his plan to get RGIII killed while playing RT is no longer viable This is possible because Polumbus is still mad that Griffin got hurt, which put the focus on the fact that he can't actually play. 5. DeAngelo Hall Motive. He wants to sleep with Britt McHenry If this were true, I wouldn't blame him, though he'd probably tear his Achilles again. I've heard that Britt is as aggressive in the sack as she is as a reporter. 6. Niles Paul Motive: he wants to sleep with Adam Schefter Winner Winner Chicken Dinner. It's ****ing annoying i kinda think some of the 'reports' that have come out the past year or so are simply low hanging fruit. and dan snyder- between the mismanagement of the team and the name debate, are about as low as you can find. when deadspin and the washington post are putting out articles favorable to the team, it only confirms my suspicions. For example maybe someone floated an "opinion" to the media member(s) and they went with it and ran as if it was certifiable fact. If someone did legitimately tell the media this piece of information though my suspicion is that it came from the front office or a member of the coaching staff, which still of course doesn't mean there is truth to it necessarily, it could just be an opinion given and the media decided it would make a hot story so they went with it before trying to actually validate the information. I think she kinda stepped into a pile of poop on this one, but unlike some, I don't think she's trying in any way to be malicious. Shefter is TRYING to be malicious. Reporting that 3 people in the organization THOUGHT that MAYBE the decision had come from the top? And then NOT reporting that he couldn't confirm it, and that it was called laughable? That's trolling for clicks and is intended to be malicious. I'm pretty sure if you asked every person in every organization what they thought about a subject, you'd get 3 people who said something funky.
