Looks like were are getting closer to new adventures of the Enterprise; this time pre-Kirk with Captain Pike.

Captain Pike Star Trek Spinoff Series Reportedly In Development

>>>There’ve been many actors to play Christopher Pike across Star Treks lifespan, since Kirk’s predecessor as captain of the Enterprise debuted in The Original Series’ pilot back in 1966. Anson Mount might just be the most popular, though, as his take on the heroic, tragic Starfleet icon went down a storm with fans when he joined the franchise in Star Trek: Discovery season 2. With season 3 now moving the show into the far future, folks shouldn’t expect more of him on the series, but it’s looking like we can rest assured he’ll be back again soon.....<<<

Star Trek Discovery: The Movie??

Star Trek: Discovery Movie Reportedly In The Works, First Plot Details Revealed

>>>Studio bosses clearly have a lot of faith in Star Trek: DiscoverySeason 3 hasn’t even aired yet, but earlier this month it was reported that it’s already been renewed for a fifth season. The show deserves credit for ushering in a new golden age of Trek on TV, too, with both Short Treks and Star Trek: Picard following it on the CBS All Access service. And the next journey of the U.S.S. Discovery could even see it go boldly into a whole new medium....<<<

Star Trek: First Contact actually scared the hell out of me as a kid, confession, Borg is no joke.

The Borg were a lot more interesting before the introduced the concept of the Borg Queen.  They were a decentralized hive-mind.  Take out a drone and another will step in to replace it seamlessly.  No single-point-of-failure.

Introducing the queen made them much less alien and more relatable while simultaneously giving them a centralized shut-off switch making them that much less of a menacing threat.

All Death Stars must include an exhaust port that you can fly a spaceship through.  (At Mach 1, on manual control.)

All James Bond villain lairs have a self destruct switch.
