He always does this, everywhere he goes, and when he leaves, the toothpicks and marshmallow rosters built around him fall apart as soon as he leaves.  Thats part of his legacy as well.

the results speak for themselves tho but this roster is a train wreck and everybody saw it coming from miles away when they traded most of their youth, athleticism, and 3pt shooting for…Russell Westbrook, then decided to fill out the rest of roster with guys that were 6 months away from competing in the 3on3 league

For whatever reason, Lebron has always seemed to like to surround himself with veterans.  And they don't even have to particularly intelligent veterans (e.g. JR Smith).

This time it seems like it has really blown up in his face.

Let’s remember that he won a title in LA, so no matter what happened, his time there has been a success.  Not saying you said otherwise PeterMP, just wanted to start with that.

Now onto the mistakes, they sacrificed a deep roster for more star power.  Russ isn’t worth three role players that can get you double digits and play defense.  He was at one point in time, but that isn’t the guy playing right now.  Also, AD is over rated.  He’s incredible when he’s playing at his full potential, but how often does he really do that?  He’s constantly hurt and has far too many games where he’s just not engaged.

What they have left is old, inefficient, and often injured.  Hard to build any momentum when everyone is in and out and your new star is scoring 13 points on 20 shot attempts.
