And they don't even have to particularly intelligent veterans (e.g. JR Smith). Let’s remember that he won a title in LA, so no matter what happened, his time there has been a success. Not saying you said otherwise PeterMP, just wanted to start with that. Now onto the mistakes, they sacrificed a deep roster for more star power. Russ isn’t worth three role players that can get you double digits and play defense. He was at one point in time, but that isn’t the guy playing right now. Also, AD is over rated. He’s incredible when he’s playing at his full potential, but how often does he really do that? He’s constantly hurt and has far too many games where he’s just not engaged. What they have left is old, inefficient, and often injured.
