"its gotta be called differently"

"i can't be allowed to be grabbed and held"

Isaiah Thomas is a ****

Curry gets grabbed and held all the time. I've never heard him complain about it.

Thomas has really been whining and playing tough this series. Little contradictory *** bamma.

He wants the refs to go back to the game 1 and 2 system where only Wizards were allowed to be grabbed and held, with or without the ball.

Beal's defense on IT has been a revelation these last 2 games

This is worth recognizing.  When Beal is dialed in and giving true effort, he is a hell of an on ball defender.  His lateral quickness is elite, better than Wall's.  You kind of see it on offense too in that highly effective herky jerky hesitation dribble drive game he's got.  You can tell he's worked really hard to develop his footwork.

And he's a lot stronger and more aggressive than he looks--he does a good job fighting through screens.

Beal was also DeRozan's primary defender back in 2015, he really strapped him up in that series.

And he's a good shot blocker for a 6'5 guard who doesn't have freak of nature hops and length.

Beal coasts on defense during the regular season.  Then he turns into Danny Green during the playoffs.  It's an issue of energy, preparation, and motivation I guess.
