StillUnknown
I can't sign on to any deal using Silky Otto Porter. He's everything you want in a near-elite swingman, on and off the court, and he's a Hoya. Not the type of guy you ship out at 24YO cause his salary fits the deal. He's almost as untradable as Wall...in my eyes. he's shooting 31% from 3, on less than 4 attempts a game. He's still rail thin which contributes to him picking up little injuries here and there. I'm not saying he isn't quality, but he is far from untouchable. Edited February 18, 2016 by StillUnknown

It is protected Nos. 1-9.
RonArtest15
The hell is Grunfeld doing? This isn't exactly buying low...SMH. I like the Morris fit, but not at this price.

RonArtest15
We're a lottery team right now...unless the Wizards magically turn it on and play .650 b-ball from here on out to give the Suns a pick between, I dunno, 18-25, this is a boneheaded trade. Morris fits a need...but I just don't like the price.

ksun247
This is just making a trade for the sense of making a trade. Ernie needs to be canned on the spot. Can't believe this nonsense! You know Ted approved this crap!!! What else did we get? Are we swapping picks? CRobi21
Hoop District @HoopDistrictDC 7m7 minutes ago #Wizards get Markieff Morris AND they're about to be let off the hook on any future player development. #ErnieWins Makes sense.
ksun247
Seeing multiple reports that we are giving them a pick plus the players, and others saying we're getting a pick. If we're giving a pick, I hate the trade.

Destino
Hump and a 1st for a guy that Phoenix desperately needed to get rid of with pending felony assault charges. Morris certainly is an upgrade at PF but we paid the suns for the honor of doing them a favor with this trade and returned to the knuckle head era in DC. This is the most unstable personality the team has seen since Gilbert and the circus was broken up. High risk at a high price, with a low reward.
StillUnknown
Not a fan of giving up the pick Morris is a head case anyway, now we're stuck with him for the next 3 years. Ernie still being aloud to exist vexes me.

StillUnknown
This move reeks of desperation. Maybe Ernie is on the hot seat......finally. Unless Ted is driving, Ernie just added salary and gave away a pick, doesnt scream hot seat to me which is more disturbing.
CRobi21
Blair seemed to be really liked and respected by the rest of the guys. Hopefully Morris' fresh start washes his douchiness away. Gotta think losing a good friend for a guy you can't stand could tear the locker room apart.
RonArtest15
No young players were given up, which is a positive. Just quickly looked at Morris' last 5 games, and he's averaged 20/7/4. I REALLY hope this deal works and the Wizards make the push necessary to get a 5 seed or better.
No Excuses
This move reeks of desperation. Maybe Ernie is on the hot seat......finally. A dead beat GM isn't going to be allowed to add salary or give up picks. To me that is most disturbing of all. This is straight up crazy. Ernie butchers the front court year after year. And his method of fixing it still by giving up draft picks and taking on salary. Not a single front court player drafted and developed. No depth, no resources, no player development.
