For me its a toss up. I have grown to really appreciate Mooney. He is a genius. For those who may not know, he was most of the brains behind Pryor, In Living Color, and he developed several comedians (Robin Williams, Dave Chappelle, Eddie Murphy)

Not to de-rail the thread but I don't get the hate for Dane Cook. It's like it's trendy to hate him. I never really cared one way or another about him. But people act like he's the worst ever....I just don't get the big deal for him, in either way.

He's a blatant joke stealer, I think that's why most people dislike him. That and he just seems like a huge douche.

I'll go with Mitch Hedberg's comedy central special. Never ceases to crack me up.

Well, he made it. So, he isn't the worst ever. A couple of bits he did made me laugh. Overall, he is pretty simple and his audience attracts high school girls and wal mart lurkers IMO.

I thought Bill Cosby - Himself was funny before I had kids, but now when I watch it I laugh so hard I cry.

Bill Cosby broke the barrier between races, in fact, one of my earliest memories is me seeing my grandpa laughing at Bill in San Fran....i was about two. My fav has always been the noah bit.

Loved Carlin, Pryor, Murphy, Rock, and several others.
