UltimateSkins
Seriously, you could put a linebacker on him and nobody would notice the difference. James Thrash in the game = Redskins are going to run. Especially when he's the only WR. Thrash isn't capable of getting open for a pass and I'm pretty sure other teams just ignore him when he lines up and tell everyone to stack the box. I know he's a "hard worker", but it seems as though he's really lost a step since his first time here and his days in Philly.
drums and skins
James Thrash always makes a few clutch catches each year. All of which, in my opinion deserve his spot on the roster (plus special teams work). The guy, in my opinion, is under-rated.
No_Pressure
Thrash serves no purpose IMO. Never heard about him doing anything to rally the locker room, he is slow, can't get open on pass plays, and the only thing he has going for him is he works hard on special teams and can block- which is useless because we have about 10 other people that are better than him on special teams, and whenever he enters the game the other team knows we are running and his blocking ability is useless. Stew
Thrash is clutch, and better then Espy, and everyone sniffs Espy's jock. He is multifunctional and can be counted on. he may not be fast but if all he is running is a short post or slant, he doesnt have to be, he is a special teamer that can be plugged into the slot or 4 wide if we ever did that..... :::crickets:::
PCS
Little late on this one. James seems to be an easy target, figured he would have been one of the first to get thrashed  after last week.
DjTj
With Joe Gibbs at the wheel, we are always going to have these types of players, and it will always be frustrating. Those hard-working, no-nonsense players are always the downfall of an NFL team. He's in on running plays for that play once or twice a season when Portis bounces it outside and a solid block on the corner is the difference between 5 yards and 50 yards. He's in on punt coverage for that play three or four times a season when he downs a ball inside the 5 yard line. He's the third or fourth wide receiver when we absolutely have to pass to make that clutch catch five or six times a year that bails out the QB or gets us a first down. ...it's the little things ... which can sometimes be the difference between winning and losing a game. RenegadeTK
Thrash is a solid roster spot. he is key on special teams, he can block well for a WR and he makes a couple key grabs every season. while i dont believe he should be in with our offense too often, he should be on the team
Skins3000
Thrash is a waste of a roster spot. This spot should be geared towards a young tall wide receiver or young DE who has the skill to become great over time with good coaching and patience. Let the player start on special teams and then earn more playing time through practice and making clutch plays in spot duty wnen the player see the field. Huge plays on special teams? clutch catches on 3rd & 7 or 8? Key blocks on big runs?

They only understand fantasy value so much hate on my favorite player, why? you all don't know a football player when you see one. Thrash is a great guy and always makes the clutch play when his number is called. if he were THROWN to more, hed catch more passes. and he DOES get open yall, hes one of our better route runners at reciever. it goes moss, then thrash, then ARE. geeze

Leonard Washington
what the hell are you talking about? thats the definition of James Thrash! lol thrash is hardly slow. he is consistently one of the first down there on punt coverage. who knows if he can still get open? we don't throw the ball to anyone outside of moss/ARE enough to know if they suck. for all we know cooley is packing it in. Area51
Thrash is on this team because Joe Gibbs is old and is playing favorites. Same situation with Mark Brunell. Neither of them should be on this team with the money they're making. Gibbs once said in a press conference that he will probably get fired for keeping Thrash on the team. I kinda wish it happens.
