btfoom Posted December 15, 2006 Share Posted December 15, 2006 My second daughter, Bria Kenna Mills, was born this morning at 8:48 by c-section. She's a featherweight right now at 5 pounds, 6 ounces, but she's a fighter. She's premature, but, they've already declared her the queen of the NICU as she doesn't really seem to need their help right now. I'll be out a while as she'll be stuck at the hospital a while, but, mom's doing fine and Bria's a baby trooper and seems way ahead of where they had us expecting her to be. This is all good news.Cheers. This post is the reason I love to come to this site and am here at least 1-2 hours every day. Nothing better than laying eyes on your child for the first time. I am very happy for the Mills family and will pray that she stays healthy and happy. Just by looking at that picture I'd say you've got nothing to worry about. 5 pounds 6 ounces aint big but it's nothin to sneeze at either, she'll be putting on the pounds in no time!
