First, watched most of the second half today on my phone with the free Fox2Go app. The streaming was in HD and the game feed was wonderful. @Gibbs Hog Heaven - I may not be a die-hard Pool supporter, but it was hard to watch as the "toxic POS that will not be named" was advertised all around the ground today. I don't know how a real supporter of Sutton must feel, as many are drawn in 2 directions to be sure. Really sucks. Question to anyone about tactics today: Why would Arsenal bring on Sanchez in the final 20 minutes, already ahead 2-0. It's not like he needs to score to get out of a rut. Putting him out there seems to be a dumb idea, especially if he gets hurt (maybe next game or 2 because of the little rest). Made zero sense to me. Also Sutton produced several great chances to score. Too bad because as a Bayern supporter, any additional match would have been welcomed.

Are you talking about Bayern? How can you say they need a 'solid striker' when they have arguably the best #9 in the world (Lewa) and one of the best CAM (Thiago)? I think they need a strong winger (paging Alexis Sanchez) and a good replacement for Lahm. I really think that Carlo is having this side round into form at the right time. He wants to peak in April/May.

Thanks big time to the announcers today, taking up the cause of Lefty. For those who remember him, there is NO discussion as to whether he belongs in the College Basketball Hall of Fame (and IMHO, in the overall basketball HOF). Lefty was a fantastic coach who used his southern charm and accent to his advantage any time he could. Was a great coach and person who was very instrumental for the ACC as far as racial integration (just ask Moses Malone, who would have made that team so ridiculously great if he didn't go pro out of HS). Unfortunately, the UMd administration hung him out to dry following the Len Bias death. That, plus the fact that UMd was always the "unwanted step-child who came good" in the Carolina dominated ACC, is the awful reason he isn't given the entire and proper respect he deserves. He led a University to the top of the mountain, when ALL was against him and the school due to the biased ACC. Oh, and nice to see the win today. How about they learn to make some baskets from the 8 minute to the 2 minute in the second half and stop giving me gesphlicus!!!

Good lord. It was just served up like a giant, slow pitch to a home run hitter, ready to be knocked out of the park. The last 8 years there have been so many people coming into the country across the Mexican border. Many are just looking for a better life (why there is no discussion as to why Mexico is so bad for its people, but that is for another thread), some are looking to make some quick money, and there are a few who are big time criminals who use the border for their own gains. Obama even helped Trump when he had folks sign up for some type of amnesty under the "Dreamer" act. All Trump needed to do is to accept them on the grounds that the US had promised them protection. He could have easily sold this to the hard core base as "what would you do if someone came to you asking for help?" If he did this, then he could have turned literally millions of folks in this country to him and not against him.

Any advice for a decent (but not too pricey) left handed putter? Thanks in advance. I used to root against him all the time, not because of him, but because of all the hype about him and the fact that pretty much 'everyone' was behind him. Now, I wish I had spent more time admiring his greatness for what it was. He won't go down as the best golfer ever (due to lack of 'longevity'), but there is no doubt that for a while, he was miles ahead of anyone else in the game. Sorry it had to go away due to an injury.
