I think that one stands out in everyone's memory for 3 reasons: 1) it is one of the few Redskins MNF win in the last 20 years, 2) it was against Dallas, and 3) it was a late dramatic come from behind victory. (The other notable being an OT win against Dallas in 2014). To his point about the Redskins and MNF, the Redskins are 5-21 in MNF games over the last 20 years. Pathetic. Oh, and old folks are funny. Edit: Just for fun I looked up all the Redskins season opening MNF games. I knew you were right because I remembered the Petibon victory over Dallas in 1993. But they only had one other season opening MNF win. Back in 1972. As old as you are, I'm sure you remember that one as well. Overall, the Redskins season opening MNF record is 2-9.
