Just talked to a somewhat psycho chick from plenty of fish. She talked fast as hell and was already bringing up "down the road" being together and how she's been through a lot in her life etc. I was like uh yeah so I gotta help my roommate bring this television upstairs talk to you later. Wasn't feeling the vibe. I already told her I'd take her out (she's moving from Minnesota to LA) and I'm not the type of dude to flake out or ignore someone but I don't see her being a good friend. She is hot though....don't think she's worth the bone though cuz lord knows what she'd be like after that.

I actually spent some time on that site back in the fall/winter just to see what it was like. I exchanged emails with quite a few women, but only got around to meeting 1chick from Hyattsville, and it didn't take long for me to realize why she was on that site. She was overly self-conscious about her looks, and was somewhat paranoid on top of it. Needless to say, things went downhill fast.

My whole thing with that site and other "not so serious" dating sites like that ( and it probably only preatains to my age group) is that the majority of women that go there are 1.) Fat/unattractive chicks, and they outnumber the attractive ones better than 2 to 1, 2) Women with apparent self esteem issues ( And I exchanged messages with a few), and 3) Good looking women, who are selfish, and self-serving, who's profiles consist of pretty much a list of demands, everything that their ideal guy should do for them instead of what they're willing to bring to the table, and who seem to be only interested in materialistic things, and feel that they deserve nothing less than perfection.

You are left with a very, very small percentage of women who IMO are beautiful, smart intelligent, driven women who really deserve someone special, but they a) don't respond to emails, B) are attracted to a different race (black, white, asian), or c) live in another part of the country, so it can be tough at times. I would say that for me, just going out and meeting people is a lot easier, though pof was an interesting experience nonetheless.

I think that dating sites have a higher chance of being more succesful for older, more mature adults, lot's of times with children, who just want to settle down, and don't necessarily have alot of time to mingle out in public like young people do.

This will be my last post, but everything from Kanye and Jay-Z is hot these days. They are untouchable. Literally every track on My Sick Dark Twisted Fantasy was vicious ( My favorite one is Runaway, for the simple fact that he sampled the intro track for Pete Rock and CL Smooth's "The Basement" from Mecca And The Soul Brother, which is probably one of the greatest less heard of hip hop albums of all time, seriously) and added his own twist to it.

Then my guess is that they'll use him as a situational pass rusher/3rd down specialist, since he obviously isn't effective as a stand up linebacker in a 3-4. With the push that they are inevitably going to get from the interior, that may end up being a great move for them.
They usually know what they're doing.

Meh, I'll tale Reasonable Doubt Jay-Z over current Jay-Z any day of the week. Kanye however, knocked it out with his newest album last year. Although my favorite is still College Dropout perhaps...perhaps.

And Mecca and the Soul Brother is criminally under-appreciated. Deservedly 5 stars on Rolling Stone and 5/5 on AllMusic.

Just got the call my parents(They drove up late last night when they heard he wasn't doing so well. They called me this morning me to watch over the house and dog since they didn't know when they would be getting back). Shortly my granddad is being taken off the ventilator. The doctors told them he's a fighter(he's a Navy vet) but they think another heart attack hit him so he said at this point is futile. We knew he was looking worst this last year and seemed like a matter of time. :(

True, true, but you could probably say the same for a lot of artists who still put **** out now that were in the game then. The competition level was unbelievably high in the mid 90's, which forced a lot of guys to challenge themselves on pretty much every verse, or risk never being heard from again. I would put Reasonable Doubt in my top 10 rap/hip hop albums of all time, so it would be pretty hard for Jay to recreate that type of magic, but IMO, he's come very close.

Yeah, I'm sure we've probably talked about this before, but they are definitely one of my favorites from the renaissance era of hip hop, no question. I remember seeing a poster of them promoting that album back in '94-'95 in my uncles old bedroom in my grandmothers house. About 6 years later, I finally asked him, "Who are these guys?", and he literally sat me down and let me listen to that entire album, and I was never the same again. They've put a few very good albums out since then, but nothing of that magnitude.

I wish they, along with a lot of other mainstays from the 90's/early '00's would put more stuff out these days, because honestly, at least as far as the majority of current artists are concerned, nothing would touch it. I heard Mystikal is either close to getting out of jail, or is already out. I'd even include him

in the mix of guys that I wouldn't mind listening to again.

http://latimesblogs.latimes.com/sports_blog/2011/08/bill-plaschke-all-hail-steve-williams-now-go-away.html

All praise Steve Williams, the golfing celebrity who fought through controversy and disappointment last weekend to hear thousands of fans chanting his name as he won the WGC-Bridgestone Invitational and … wait a minute.

Steve Williams didn’t win. Adam Scott won.

Steve Williams only carried the clubs. Adam Scott actually swung them.
