Mr. Sinister
http://latimesblogs.latimes.com/sports_blog/2011/08/bill-plaschke-all-hail-steve-williams-now-go-away.html I thought that was pretty low. That entire press conference was loaded with I's. " I was happy to win the tournament," I this, I that. He made a complete ass out of himself. If I was Scott, I'd be considering looking for another caddy, seriously.
ACW
Caddies aren't even that important. Hell, even a retarded troll could do that...hey, there's a job for Snooki

Tiger even said himself its hard to judge yardage now

The Evil Genius
caddies are very important. in fact stevie is one of the best ones, he is great at challenging golfer's to take risks, and he is great at yardage marking. Tiger even said himself its hard to judge yardage now All of his distances are off because he (Tiger) is hitting the ball more flush (according to Tiger) and because his knee is back to 100%. There wouldn't be anything that any caddie could do about the distances - until Tiger has more rounds under his belt.
ixcuincle
Can't believe Real signed a 7 year old I spoke to my connections today and they informed me clubs usually sign talent at 11 or 12, but 7? Come on. Word is Barca was really after him though. What do you do when you are a kid and you're signed with Real Madrid? Must be the good life. IONTOP
Alright I'm back... Had a pretty good sized breakdown Thursday night/Friday, Today I went to UNCG at 9am, spoke with the head of admissions again, she told me there wasn't anything I could do, went to student affairs, they told me there was nothing they could do, went to the office of the provost, who told me there was nothing they could do, then went to the Dean of Students who told me "That annoys me that this happened and unfortunately I don't know why you were referred to me, but I do want to help you as much as I can, but I don't think that there's anything I can personally do for you, wait in the lobby I'm going to make a call or two", about 20 minutes later, he comes out and says "Not making any promises, but admissions is willing to take your transcripts as long as that's all that they need, there's a good chance we can get you in this fall.", went back to admissions and dropped off my transcripts and looks like all is good... Keeping my fingers crossed as of now... Call me "pessimistically optimistic"...
Kosher Ham
Well there you go ION. Even if you don't get in this fall...you are young. Just will give you a year to prepare and zip through the classes. I can't believe how down you were on your situation the other day. Keep your chin up and stay focused. You will be fine. ---------- Post added August-9th-2011 at 02:30 AM ---------- I can't stand Tiger. Why ? I think Steve looks like an idiot though. Bubble Screen
Why ? I think Steve looks like an idiot though. Never cared for the guy. He's a prima donna. Never liked how he comes across in interviews. Its almost like he always has this..."How dare you ask me that question...don't you know who I am look?"...Then there are his stupid tirades on the course. He used to always ***** and moan at every little thing someone did in the gallery. **** him. Then there's the spitting on the green incident. The cheating on your wife with porn stars and Perkins waitresses. Do you want me to go on? And yeah, I absolutely loved this past weekend. Its GREAT, how in Steve Williams' FIRST time on the bag with Adam Scott, he ****ing WINS!...And yeah, I had no problem with any of his comments either. Glad to see someone put Eldrick in his place. Hope the guy never wins another tourney...ever.

Bubble Screen
So you don't like him because he is ****y ? He earned it. I never said that. I don't mind guys being ****y. But he's about as arrogant of an athlete as I've ever seen. He's not a good guy. He's proven to be a terrible husband and father. I've never understood why the guy is so likeable, outside of him being a winner. And he's not even that, anymore. What's to like about the guy? I can't believe how down you were on your situation the other day. Keep your chin up and stay focused. You will be fine. Actually looking back on it... I don't feel bad about it at all, those feelings were real, and they still are real... I've come a long way... Because a year or two ago, all those feelings I posted and talked to people about and vented on other outlets would have still been bottled up inside of me and eating me alive. When I posted that, called someone to talk about everything, I felt a little bit better... And I've become less of a "bottler" and more of a "I'm usually happy, but I'm not going to be happy all the time, deal with it". While it may have sounded bad, and I'm not going to lie, it was VERY bad, it's not as bad as if I had never said anything in the first place. I'm still mad as hell that I had to go through this, because it still makes no sense to me as to why this series of events happened, but, I've found a new side of me, that I never expressed. Kosher Ham
Bubs, As a person I don't like the guy. But same as many sports stars he was amazing beyond anything I had ever seen on the course. I don't root for him, but I have no hatred towards him either. So he is arrogant..so what. At 19 he was one of the best golfers in the world. He should be arrogant. His personal life is his personal business. I don't care if he sleeps in women's panties. That is his business.
IONTOP
I have found evidence that 95% of men cheat on their women via twitter: "Anything you do behind your significant others' back that you can't do in front of them... that's cheating." < With this being true: How many people have bought an engagement ring for their girlfriend without them knowing? RichmondRedskin88
7 yr old signings aren't unheard of. I heard of a 5 year old signing. Of course that was done for kid who dreamed of being sign by a great team so they made a "contract" to fullfill his dream. I think it was Barca that did it. The system overseas is much different from here. Players develop very young. If they see you have great skills your in a camp for most of your pre 10 life. Its not like here where there's a certain cycle of school then college then job. If you have skills someone wants on their team education usually takes a backseat. Plus if you were a 11 or 12 yr old who can makes thousands or even millions of dollars playing a sport they grew up playing rather than going through school which would you choose? Of course that does mean players have to mature quickly otherwise you end up with drama queens who will act like a child most of their career.
