I hope I didn't miss the thread from another poster.  Per the RedditSkins page, our game is going to be shown in most of the country.  I hope the team does well in the spotlight!!

No clue WHY. But I'll take it.

Here in Gainesville, I couldn't watch the Bucs game, cause my station showed the Saints. And I couldn't watch the Saints game, cause they showed the Bucs.

And I would have thought that, if nothing else, The Return of Romo would have been the default game, most of the country.

I wonder what criteria they use in deciding what game gets shown where.

 

Is it marketability? Are they speculating on what game will be the most interesting or exciting? Is it potential advertising dollars? Do local affiliates have a say in what game they want to broadcast?

 

I notice where they say who is calling the game that the Washington-Carolina game will be the one shown in Alaska and Hawaii as well.

 

That's a lot of territory. :)

See, that is what I thought as well. That the return of Romo would garner that game a more national spotlight.

 

However, I guess the Cowboys being 2-7 kinda overrode that. :)

Ah, Jerome Boger...

 

Didn't he call the Dolphins game?

 

EDIT:  NM, Boger was the ref for the Eagles game.  I remember him doing us no favors. 10 penalties for 110 yards vs 8 for 72 against the Eagles.

Central Florida is the WORST place for NFL fans of out of state teams ---

 

The greater Orlando area gets stuck with being a primary market for Tampa AND Jacksonville then a secondary market for Miami.

 

So anytime one of those 3 teams is on it will trump national games like in this case with the Skins.

 

I miss the days of 2013 when the Skins were on primetime the max amount of times due to RG III's great 2012 rookie season
